Not every token unlock is a "bullish unlock". Most are obviously very bearish. So why did $ENA pump on their huge unlock, while $2Z dumped to new lows on theirs? (chart below) Ethena managed this unlock very well. They unlocked all the remaining VC token unlocks at once, so that there are no more unlocks going forward from today. They also looked onchain to see which VCs had been dumping their unlocks, and bought back all their tokens. They also announced turning on the fee switch and buying back tokens with revenue, while increasing revenue lines through multiple new product launches. 2Z on the other hand, while a very interesting project that I would like to own some day, still has many VC unlocks to go, and based on the chart it can be assumed those VCs are clearly dumping. As a retail investor I would prefer to wait until those VCs that got in cheaper and just intend to flip their bags by dumping on retail are out. $ENA is setting a new standard here that I think is going to prove very successful over the next few months. This is a new model that every project with remaining unlocks and no buybacks should follow. With a very friendly SEC there is no longer any excuse not to do this. 1. Unlock all tokens 2. Buy back tokens from VCs that dump every unlock 3. Buy back and burn tokens using revenue This is how you become a winner in the new generation of crypto.
