Today, we honor and remember those who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As we enjoy time with family and friends, let's also take a moment to reflect on the freedom we have thanks to their bravery.

Want to bust a school culture?
💥Love your kids.
💥Love your coworkers.
💥Love your school.
💥And always, always, always make decisions that are best for kids.
Schools exist for kids, not adults.

Up for a quick game? 🎲
"Groups of 5. Take turns rolling the die and answering the questions. The first person in each group to roll all numbers and answer all questions wins." – T @GingerAaron

ALT A game titled "D-ice breakers." Each rolled number corresponds with an activity. 1: Describe your perfect school day. 2: If you won the lottery, what is the 1st thing you would buy? 3: What are you most excited about for this new school year? 4: If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why? 5: What's the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from? 6: What's your guilty pleasure?

When you're having a bad day, read this reminder via educator @GWMills22:

ALT "While the technique varies from teacher to teacher, everything we do boils down to caring for the Ss: every single day, through your words and actions, show the kiddos that you love them unconditionally and are here for them no matter what. It's what we do as teachers, and it counts." –Educator George Mills

Your classroom is a reflection of the community beyond it.
And you have the power to make a difference in both.

This is so wonderful for our students! So great to hear that another barrier is removed and our students enjoy a full day of exciting educational opportunities without the worry of having to think about whether their lunch is paid for or not.
Students learning to observe make a hypothesis by counting the number of drops of water a penny will hold. What's your guess?
