AiDU or #AdventuresInDigitalUtopia: a brand new digital platform created by the team behind @ShambalaFest. We're presenting world class culture to raise money for the Arts, Earth & its communities. More about us here - aidu.tv/about-aidu/
If you don't have @thetimes subscription, Crack summarise. Failing to negotiate visa-free travel for musicians will make touring untenable for many. It's a disaster for emerging talent and will totally change the cultural landscape of our island state.
Over 100 artists have signed a letter to the government

The #MusiciansPassport is backed by MPs, industry, musicians and fans.
The Culture Minister must urgently confirm one way or another whether it was the UK Government that blocked the deal which would have granted UK musicians #WorkingInTheEU easy access to EU states for touring.
We are angry and alarmed at reports that our own elected representatives chose to turn down an EU offer of visa-free touring by British musicians, after reassurances that our £101.5bn #CreativeArts and £5.8bn #MusicIndustry were a priority.

ALT White text and yellow quotation marks on a plain grey background. Text says: "With the British music business having been devastated by Covid-19 and with no end in sight to the black hole of cancelled concerts, tours, festivals and regular gigs that is the very bedrock of our world-class industry, the news, if true, that our own elected representatives chose to turn down such an offer is nigh-on unbelievable." Horace Trubridge, Musicians' Union General Secretary.
