Huvitav artikkel. Aga midagi on siin oluliselt puudu. Minu esmane ja ainus ülesanne tollal saadikuna Washingtonis oli saada USA valitsuse toetust vene vägede väljaviimisel. *Ainus* teine liitlane oli Rootsi, peaminister Carl Bildi eestvedamisel. Soome (kel pidanuks vägede lahkumine strateegiliselt kõige olulisem), ei liikutanud lillegi. Oli täiesti vait. Nagu oli ka Saksamaa. Null toetust. Aus artikkel võinuks vähemalt ütelda midagi selle kohta, kuidas Soome ise suhtus Putini tollaegsele avaldusele. Aga mitte sõnagi. Just sayin... arvamus.postimees.ee/8545769…
