@AgriCanadian believes every day should be #WorldFoodDay. We live in Canada, where great #agrifood workers produce the nutritious food we need. Far too many face food insecurity. Join us in thanking the producers, processors, and retailers who help keep us fed.

We're back at Canada’s @OutdoorFarmShow! Come visit us at AP-C2 inside the FCC Tent.  If you're a grower or ag professional, come see our sensor in person and learn all about the #SoilOptix process, helping growers uncover soil insights that can support more strategic decisions in the field. It's been great seeing so many new and returning faces this year. If you haven't stopped by yet, there's still time to come say hi.

Can precision agriculture help rebuild soil while protecting it from further erosion? Our white paper, Driving Regenerative and Sustainable Agricultural Practices with Precision, explores this through a case study titled "Maintaining Soil Cover and Managing Phosphate to Reduce Erosion and Runoff." In hummocky landscapes, eroded hilltops can lead to poor seed placement, low plant populations, and exposed soil that is vulnerable to further erosion. In our case study, variable rate seeding was used to increase crop establishment in vulnerable areas, while phosphate rates were adjusted by SWAT zone based on soil P supply and expected yield removal. The goal was to build ground cover, support soil health, and minimize excess phosphate and runoff. 🌱THE RESULT: Over time, increased crop roots and biomass can improve soil health and reduce seedling mortality, allowing seeding rates to eventually return to normal. This is a practical example of using field specific data to improve crop establishment while protecting soil. Read the full case study in our white paper here: bit.ly/4dmmWVD #SWATMAPS #precisionag #regenerativeag

Organic month got us thinking… Does organic mean no tech? 🌱🤔 Nope! Organic farms can use things like sensors and robotics to help with day-to-day farming. Organic and technology can go together, but there are still standards for what can be used in organic production! #OrganicMonth #OrganicFarms #AgTech #Innovation
