He couldn’t help the grin that spread across his face when her hand landed against his chest. The surprise in her voice was almost enough to make him laugh again, but there was something else there too. The faint flush creeping across her cheeks didn’t escape him.
ᅠᅠ
ᅠᅠ
He studied her for a moment, thumb brushing absentmindedly against his palm as he considered what to ask. A slow smirk pulled at his mouth.
“ Alright. Same question. Have you ever fantasized about one of us? ”
His eyebrows lifed, almost daring her to dodge it.
ᅠᅠ
ᅠᅠ
His eyebrows shoot up, the question catching him so completely off guard for a second. He stared at her, then let out a low chuckle, shaking his head as he looked away. A hand coming up to rub along his jaw.
“ Wow, okay. That’s your first question? ”
ᅠᅠ
ᅠᅠ
His eyes stay on hers for a moment longer than necessary.
“ But if we’re talking about someone on the team? ”
He shaked his head, almost amused at himself.
“ Oh, Elle. Elle, Elle, Elle. ”
His voice dropped slightly, his expression turned knowingly playful.

Morgan lets out a quiet laugh, shaking his head as he glances over at her. Of all the things he expected to be doing while waiting for either a rescue team or a bullet, playing twenty questions definitely wasn’t one of them.
ᅠᅠ
ᅠᅠ
“ Twenty questions? Seriously, Elle? ”
A crooked grin tugs at his lips, though the amusement in his eyes doesn’t quite hide the tension underneath.
“ Alright. But if we’re doing this, we’re doing it properly. No easy questions. ”
