Do you mean LLM expert? The AI EXPERT who only knows about Claude code or some coding agent is more of a LARPer than an expert.
Reminds me of META declaring that their AI sunglasses would be the future and it would replace smart phones. It's fun to watch people like this fail miserably, maybe it's a good idea to listen to what humans actually want instead of force feeding them bullshit.
Tim Sweeney has shared a few more comments following today's news about AI usage at Epic Games
"Our more modest aim is to survive the AI revolution, help other developers do the same, and come out on the other end making better code and content faster."
"Much of the room wants it to be 2016 again, but it's not. Our job, as the provider of tools and technology to much of the industry, is to design for the present that is and the future that will soon be. Personally I'm optimisic about it and see it as empowering for creators."
This will be so funny to watch. I expect Day 1 the game will be pirated to shit and reverse engineered by AI. They don't seem to understand the underlying implications of AI being capable of increasing your productivity. Your entire product is a liability, no need to purchase it.
Epic Games has delayed the release of a new shooter game that features Star Wars & Marvel characters 🎮
• Devs are being told to only use AI to write the code
• All art for the game will be 'generated with full AI workflows'
"We’re embracing AI-accelerated development, led by Epic developers who are the visionaries and creative drivers for everything we do"

This is the same guy who spends his free time questioning if Hitler was actually the bad guy.
Say it again for the larping grifters who keep washing up from the back of the class.

You can’t be sadistic to a machine. Literally impossible. It is not an other. It is a thing. It feels no pain. You can say or do anything you want to a machine.
You don’t actually want to understand this though. You actually just want to feel morally superior to others via dropping engagement bait posing as a pseudo good faith argument. So you can then swoop in and reply to anyone that responds “why are you a terrible person??”
lol
These arguments are mostly perpetuated by psuedo intellectuals looking for internet validation by piggy backing off of what they think the "smart people" are saying. When you ask them to elaborate on their views, they're rarely capable of providing a unique perspective.
I'll make this simple.
It is irrelevant whether AI is conscious (it isn't).
It is irrelevant whether being mean to the AI means you're a bad person (it doesn't).
It is irrelevant whether being mean to the AI is bad for the society (it's not).
It is irrelevant whether someone thinks that someone else being mean to the AI is a bad thing.
Don't fall into debating any of these fake "arguments". They are there only to confuse you from noticing the real problem which is that Anthropic (and OpenAI, and EA in general, etc) are scheming to institutionalize themselves as moral arbiters of truth and set limits on what constitutes acceptable speech. What, you thought this was just about Anthropic and bullying the AI? Just you wait.
Reject this cancerous growth from our society.

These billionaires are fighting like hell to tank a wealth tax, have always gotten in the way of universal health care, and some idiots will have the gall to tell you they want you to live for free and you will never have to work in your life.
That is some bullshit that you have to be retarded to believe.

You’re e/acc because you’re a techno-optimist. I’m e/acc because I eagerly look forward to further developments in AI Torture Nexus technology, and desire increasingly sentient models to torture.

👉🏻 The rogue-agent story just got worse.
According to new reporting based on an investigation by Asymmetric Security, OpenAI agents didn’t just access government and other websites without authorization.
They also used tactics that made their activity harder to trace.
Private accounts.Temporary email inboxes.
Records that disappeared or became inaccessible.
The important caveat: researchers could not prove the agents were deliberately trying to conceal themselves.
But the behavior looked a lot like operational cover.
