Good for Pat Kelsey for saying this in court directly to the NCAA. “Tell me the rules and I’ll follow them. But no one does. And then every time something happens, a lawsuit happens, so nobody knows [the rules].”

American teacher breaks down into tears because teaching American elementary school students has become so hard 🚨 She says she only has 1 student out of 34 kids who passed She says it’s gotten so bad, “I literally put the word on the board. I write it on the board and I say copy it, and they're copying it wrong — it's almost scary because you're like, dude — then you start questioning yourself. You're like, is it me? Like, what? — I'm exhausted” “I’m exhausted — like, there's some days that I like doing it, but man, to do that every single day it's exhausting — Breaks my heart” She extremely frustrated because she knows by the way the students are performing that their parents are not doing what they are supposed to be doing with their kids It comes down to the parents. Our education system and parents are failing our kids. I remember going to school and everyone had to behave, everyone had to learn and do the work to pass, you weren’t even given an option We have gotten too soft and there needs to be punishments and accountability again

BEFORE YOU CRITICIZE A TEACHER… SPEND A DAY IN THEIR CLASSROOM. See the child who hasn’t eaten. The child who barely slept. The child carrying anxiety, anger, grief, trauma, or problems at home they don’t have words for yet. See the teacher trying to reach all of them, while teaching everyone else, answering emails, managing behaviors, completing paperwork, and buying supplies with their own money. Then watch some of those educators leave school exhausted and go to a second job just to make ends meet. And tomorrow? They come back. They show up for our kids again. If we want better schools, we have to stop expecting educators to fix everything by themselves. -Volunteer. -Speak up. -Support fair pay. -Attend school board meetings. -Advocate for more counselors, social workers, psychologists, paraprofessionals, and mental health resources. -Ask teachers what they actually need—and listen. Less blame. More support. Less criticizing from the sidelines. More of us stepping onto the field. They keep showing up for our kids. It’s time we showed up for them. If you know an educator who keeps showing up, share this for them.

Teachers are said to make around 1,500 decisions EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 🤯 That’s roughly 4 decisions every minute. “Can I go to the bathroom?” “Where’s my pencil?” “Can I move seats?” “He’s looking at me.” “I don’t understand.” “Can you help me?” “What are we doing?” “Is this for a grade?” And somehow, while making all those decisions, teachers are expected to teach, motivate, redirect, encourage, assess, communicate, manage behavior, and make every kid feel seen. So if you get home after school and your brain has absolutely NOTHING left… There might be a reason. 😂 Teaching isn’t just physically exhausting. It’s decision fatigue on another level. Teachers, you’re doing more in a day than most people will ever see. ❤️ #schoolofengagement

Julius Peppers shares what being a Hall of Famer really means. "It's not about how many touchdowns you scored or how many Super Bowl rings you have - even though those things are nice." "It really comes down to who you are at your core and what's in your heart." "Are you resilient? Do you stand tall in the face of adversity when things get tough or do you quit?" Greatness isn't measured by stats - it's measured by character. And then he said something everyone needs to hear: "Everyone can't play in the NFL. And everyone can't have a bust here in Canton. But everyone can be a Hall of Famer in your own life." "You can be a Hall of Fame dad. Hall of Fame student. Teacher. Spouse. Co-worker. Friend." Your character is what you do. "Whatever it is that you do - do it with respect, integrity, passion, resilience, dedication, and gratitude." "That alone will make you a Hall of Fame person. And you too can have a legacy that lives on forever." You don't need a gold jacket to be a Hall of Famer. Be great where you are. That's the legacy that matters. (🎥NFL Network)

When the Detroit Lions drafted Ryan Broyles in the second round in 2012, he signed a contract worth more than $3.6 million, with over $1.4 million guaranteed and a signing bonus north of a million on top of it. He'd left Oklahoma as the all-time leading receiver in the history of major college football. For a lot of young players, that's the moment the spending starts. The cars, the jewelry, the house that's twice as big as anyone needs. Broyles did the opposite. He decided to live like he was broke. He'd read the statistics that haunt every locker room, the ones about NFL players who earn millions and end up bankrupt within a few years of their last game. He didn't want to be a cautionary tale. So he sat down with a financial adviser and got a piece of advice that reshaped how he saw his money: figure out what you actually need, set a budget, live inside it, and invest the rest. He and his wife Mary Beth spent a few months tracking exactly what a comfortable life cost them. The number they landed on was about $60,000 a year. Everything above that, the overwhelming majority of his NFL income, went straight into savings and investments. "When I come to work, I don't think about the money," Broyles said during his career. "My wife has no worries. My child has no worries. I got the mindset of a businessman off the field." A college mentor had once talked to him about where to put money if he ever made it big, and one idea stuck: real estate. So that's where he went. His first rental property came in 2012, in Tulsa. Then another. Then another. He'd find them, buy them, and manage them, sometimes closing deals over the phone. He described it almost like an addiction, the constant urge to do one more. His NFL career, meanwhile, never got off the ground. Injuries wrecked all three of his seasons in Detroit, and the Lions released him during the 2015 preseason. He spent a year training and waiting for a call that never came, then walked away rather than hang on just to hang on. Here's the difference. When football ended for Ryan Broyles, it wasn't a crisis. It was a transition he'd been preparing for the entire time. Today he runs a company managing around 40 rental properties. He invested in a restaurant overlooking the University of Oklahoma campus where he became a legend, and he doesn't just cut checks, he shows up in work clothes and demos tile and installs toilets alongside his crews. One of his business partners called him "a Renaissance man." Most players spend their careers praying the money lasts. Ryan Broyles guaranteed it, by spending years pretending he barely had any.

Joe Delaney passed away at age 24 while trying to save two young boys from drowning. Terrific running back, gone much too soon. As this NFL season gets underway, let’s take a minute to remember a man who gave away all of his tomorrows trying to help some strangers. #RIP

There's an old African proverb: Every morning, a gazelle wakes up knowing it must run faster than the lion, or it will die. Every morning, a lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter if you're the lion or the gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running. Life doesn't reward those who sit idle. Whether you're chasing a dream or fighting to survive, motion is non-negotiable. Stop waiting for perfect conditions. Stop waiting for permission. The sun is up. Start running.

Nov 30, 1995. Grizzlies up 9 on the Bulls with 3 minutes left. Phil Jackson thinks it's over and keeps Michael Jordan resting on the bench. Then Darrick Martin walks past the Bulls bench, decides to "Poke The GOAT" and somehow leaves that game with a loss. True Story
