We're honoured to join the @eigencloud Protocol Council and strengthen our collaboration with the @eigenfoundation to help secure the protocol and foster its growth.
Looking forward to contributing to this important governance journey!
3/ Initially, the Protocol Council will include five members from across the EigenLayer ecosystem.
Of this cohort, two members are representatives of the Eigen Foundation and the other three are independent members sourced from the greater EigenLayer community:
- Sigma Prime (@sigp_io) represented by Mehdi Zerouali (@ethzed)
- Unit410 (@unit_410), represented by Mike Reinhart (@reinhartmike)
- Gonçalo Sa (@GNSPS) from Creed (@creeddao) and prev. Consensys Diligence (@ConsenSysAudits)
These members oversee the protocol’s governance until the Council progressively decentralizes, enabling it to operate more independently under the guidance and stewardship of the community.
