Everyday 4-6 hours of testing.
This is the only way to check the reliability.
Now we have reached several hours of consistent rating.
The modules are able to provide continuous of 8A and a burst of 10A for more than 60mins. This is for both 5V and 12V.
Even though we can rate the BECs for 10A since most flights are less than an hour, we want to keep it lower to protect the boards, the devices connected and the user.
I'll also include a video of 10A soon.
Stay tuned!
We did lab tests at 200A and the on-board temperature near the soldered wire reached to 100°C!
The wires were smoking hot!
Suspecting it to have reached more than 150°C.
The board was able to handle but not the wires. It was limited by the wires limitations.
We will do more tests in the next few weeks to extend it's full capabilities.
We also did BECs at 5V, 9A and 12V, 9A but with some passive cooling.
More updates coming soon!

UPDATE:
Our family is growing.
We are having more babies to take care of.
We at @AgamRobotics are actively looking to raise funds.
We have been investing in building multiple verticals in drone eco-systems like Autopilots, GNSS, DPMs, Sensors which are already in mass production.
We have a proven scaling strategy and are looking for funds to scale.
Our strategy has been inventory-ready, high quality products at optimal pricing, support and service.
We are also actively doing R&D of various other products which are scalable as well.
Targeting Defence, industrial, commercial and enterprise solutions.
We are looking to raise about 10Cr and are in talks with few people.
DM me if interested and let's discuss.

ADVICE: Watch till the end. If you are into drones, you will enjoy the sound.
For the last few weeks, we have been stress testing ESCs.
Yes. We are working on 4-in-1 ESC.
Looks like just for the ESC testing, the climate changed in favor of us.
It's been Summer in October is insane.

With all the Starlink noise and chaos, I wanted to update our MegH7 firmware support.
Team has worked hard on this!
Hats off to them.
All I did was just fly test it.
Mostly the FPV ones, since I am the only FPV pilot as of now.
Agam MegH7 is not just on paper being told that we support PX4, Ardupilot, Betaflight and iNav.
We are showcasing the proof here. Watch the video!
Choose which firmware you need and get started with what you want.
The same hardware can be used across different applications, from FPV drones to more advanced autonomous UAVs.

New product coming soon from @AgamRobotics
Testing in progress.
I have been feeling too rusty of not flying FPV freestyle for a long time.
Plus this was built by the team so it's not my usual radio.
More videos coming up in the next week.
Until then enjoy a farm land view.

Progress:
This damn thing is copper heavy!
With increasing copper prices, we said why not more copper.
How beautiful is this with all the components laid out!
Due to availablity, the motor connectors are on the other side because of the variations in design. Typically it should be this side.
If connectors are not needed, then manual soldering can be done.
More testing videos coming soon.

You asked for it. We made it.
Yes, it took time but better late than never.
This is the biggest board ever produced by @AgamRobotics
Our new product is coming up!
AgamDPM04
It went through multiple design iterations. We just didn't want to create another alternative but make it better. Give it features that caters to not just now but to the future.
Same thought process like our Agam Autopilot v6x-RT and Agam MegH7 😀
We are assembling it.
I would like to share the product journey of this like I used to before.
Theoretical features:
- Can handle about 500A
- The current sense can be done up to 1500A(Some firmware modifications are needed)
- Best part, you ask? It has 2 Voltage lines: 5V and 12V along with battery voltage. But crazy part is, it's designed for 10A each!
We saw many PDBs and BECs but all doing a max of 5A and mostly 2A.
- Oh I almost forgot!
Guess what?
This is Digital! Of course it's in the name
DPM, Digital Power Module.
Which means, no need to calibrate, tune, specify voltage and test.
3 parameters and you are set!
Beauty of Digital system hcih we have been carrying it for more than 2 years now.
There's no big PDBs which are digital, with 5V @ 10A, 12V @ 10A in the market yet.
First of it's kind.
This big board, why you may ask?
Agriculture drones? Maybe. That sector is almost ded though. Can't target that.
But similar size drones are on the rise now for multiple applications. The drone could be
for heavy lift, delivery, spraying and painting, facade cleaning, and many more!
But all these big drones need a power systems capable of handling such high currents and not just that but also provide various voltage levels to power servos, camera systems, payloads, etc.
I'll keep sharing the progress of the product development. Stay tuned!
As always, peace.

It's finally here on 80th Indian Independence Day!
With robust design and high quality materials, here we have with built inventory, completely sorted out supply chain and readily available to get your drone up in the air.
Thanks to a few early adopters who worked with us and gave constant feedback to refine it better.
We are not competing against others in the market, we are competing with our Agam Autopilot v6x-RT on this one.
Both has it's own requirements and specifications. Now we have filled the gap needed in the market for better quality and support.
Take it and start your development now!
PS: Coming from a consumer FPV perspective, I understand the pricing part. For that we are coming with vetter version of it soon.
As always stay tuned.
Peace.

One of the coolest project we have been working on in the recent times.
All our @AgamRobotics Products integrated in the drone working indoors in a GPS denied environment is pretty amazing!
Top it off with strawberry farm, what else can you ask for! You get to work with amazing people with amazing tech.
Making cool shit with serious people, very often in the middle of nowhere.. Marky Marc (Andreessen) was right, it does feel like chewing glass most of the time. But days like this make it worth (almost)...

Last month we beat the previous month!
Consecutively 3 months has been on the rise for @AgamRobotics revenue.
August is going to be a bit tricky.
But we will continue to push and give our 100%.
Last quarter and especially last month ended with up a bang at @AgamRobotics!
Best month and quarter in terms of revenue.
This month was a wild ride as we got multiple orders for multiple products.
We sold new products which we haven't even yet launched!
We will soon do that.
We are still sticking to not increase the price due to rise in component prices.
Alright, getting ready for this month already and it's a busy day.

Proof that there's no real components shortage but falsely created by €hin@.
They do have heaps of stocks and inventory. But intentionally create scarcity and sell at high cost.
Don't head to it and entertain.
Ignore it. I'll tell you why.
These components are mixed with old and new stock. By old stock I mean, salvaged from other failed boards, recycled PCBs, etc.
Counterfeits are a big problem in semiconductor industry and it gets passed through these sources.
@AgamRobotics, we take traceability very seriously.
I come from this industry since 2014 and I have seen it first hand. It's hardwired in my brain, blood and bones. We will never get any components from unknown sources. We make sure all the COO, COD(introduced now) will be handled properly.
Any of our clients when asked, we share the details much faster because the data is present already and not manipulated at the time of request.

Biggest implications from BVLOS is that industry is considering drone delivery is any other applications.
It's much more complex and risky.
Bigger than this is the eVTOL industry.
People think that will solve traffic problems.
But no.
You see the time it takes for you to get down a bus or cab? Very quick, isn't it?
Compare that to flight.
City to city travel is much faster but getting into the plane is a tedious process. The same risk that applies to airlines will be applied to eVTOLs.
The security checks, x-ray scanning, etc., will apply.
Point to point will be fast, but getting in due to safety measures will increase the time.
Hope to see the amazing development in the next few years on the same.

I have heard from many how slow these govt orgs are and we know that it's true.
A startup with little to no funds move much faster than them and they get surprised when they hear it.

People don't really understand the intensity of Agam Autopilot integration.
They just see a boxed enclosure.
This critical Flex PCB connects the sensor board to the flight controller.
It needs to be so thin to allow vibration dampening without being too rigid.
It's hard to manufacture this in India and currently has low yield. Working with manufacturers to improve and optimize.
It's easier to manufacture PCBs.
I don't see it a hard part for us to do.
The Agam Autopilot has dozens of small parts like these which are very critical and when put together works crazy good!
One of the reasons, our Agam Autopilot is preferred by many drone manufacturers because it works so well with small drones to big ones(tested up to 55kg payload). – at Bengaluru South, India

Another reason why hardware is hard.
We had secured some important components and had it shipped from Singapore through our logistics.
For the last 2 days, there was no update on Tracking and no response for my calls.
We had a PCB assembly planned this week and everything got delayed because we didn't have components.
After an escalation email, I got a call from them saying our POC left the job and all deliveries have been delayed.
The package was sitting in our area for 2 days! We could have just gone there, picked it up and our Assembly of 500 units would have been completed this week!
Wild!
Happy ending though. We got components and assembly planned next week. Updates coming soon.
