The first paper from an awesome collaboration with the @Nirantharakumar Group at @unibirmingham. Metformin suggested to protect against AMD—we found no supporting evidence in a very large cohort. @AgainstAMD wants to publish robust data—“positive” or “negative” results welcome!
In our recent #RWE research, we found no evidence that #metformin was associated with risk of #AMD in patients requiring treatment for #T2DM.
