AV1611PCE dominated the F.I.R.S.T. Trials in Virden, IL at 296.7 bpa! 🏆 This new hybrid blew past the plot average by +47.8 bpa and put a +32 bpa gap between itself and 2nd place. Incredible finish! #plantagventure
Finished the plot in Troy Grove, IL last night. Overall thoughts… not bad for all the rain and no fungicide.
Looks to be a wide open harvest week. Not much rain in the 7 day.
Main questions to be answered this week are quality impacts in heavy rain areas. Should get a better handle on the mid to late Illinois soybean yields soon. More updates to come!

Harvest delays continue from western IL west and north according to the 7 day expected moisture map.
Split soybean pods, soybean and corn sprouts and ear mold are mainly coming in from IA, MN and NE.
Better running in corn central IL east but need some sun on the beans.

The new AV1611PCE finished #1 in MU trials in the Southeast Region, at 266.6 bpa! 🏆 This was a +12.4 bpa advantage over the plot average. We are excited about this racehorse hybrid for the South!
Also, the low drama AV5813V was #4 with a 262.4 bpa finish.

Thanks to our customers for sending in photos of harvest! Pretty happy with AV6117PCUE on some tough ground. 250+ bpa is a huge win in that area of Southern IL!
