When the intelligence that was provided & released by the PIJ about the July 2025 shipment into Lilongwe everything changed. The route went straight to Ethiopia. Basically the network didn't need the Malawi military infrastructure to move weapons; they just needed a sovereign cover. Once Malawi became too hot, they swapped out the destination, changed the cargo manifests, and kept the pipeline flowing.
Chivayo’s true role was the financial facilitator. He used captured Zimbabwean taxpayer funds to pay companies like Vise Air to run the ghost fleet. It is the ultimate shield in high-level state capture because it completely weaponises a country’s sovereign infrastructure to hide criminal activity.
It Legalises the Flight of Capital
It Manufactures Sovereign Immunity
It Smothers Domestic Investigations
Chivayo was not paying the weapons factories directly; instead, he was paying the shell companies like Vise Air and Zebu Air to charter the heavy aircraft, buy the fuel, and grease the wheels of the logistics chain.
Unfortunately for Chivayo the moment a proxy gets too loud as he did with his leaked audios and flashy displays of wealth they attract the attention of international intelligence agencies. Once Western intelligence watchdogs map the digital radar logs of planes like 7Q-VXX and 7Q-ASU, the sovereign cover evaporates, forcing the masterminds to aggressively cut their losses to ensure the trail doesn't reach the head of state.
This OSINT (Open-source intelligence) handle has been tracking the planes since October 25. Since 30 September 2026 the day of his death they have resumed. The show must go on!
Question is who has become the new financial facilitator?
Just so that everyone reading is very clear when involved in illicit arms trafficking trade, especially one backed by a state-capture model, the profit margins are astronomically high & now that Chivayo is gone there is no way in a million years anyone would want out.
For the record all the information I have shared is verified the only "speculation or conspirac theory" is Chivayos involvement. Which i personally think os clear as day however we might not ever know & probably the very reason that chopper came crashing down on the 30th of September.
All we have to rely on now is a court case in Malawi on the 12th of Nov to see what comes of the findings by ACB
The Cost of Playing God: How the Global Arms Game Finally Caught Up to Wicknell Chivayo
In the high-stakes underworld of transnational arms trafficking, there is a brutal, unspoken rule: you can be rich, you can be powerful, but you can never be loud. For years, Chivayo flew directly in the face of that rule, flaunting a lavish lifestyle funded by heavily inflated state contracts while operating as a key financial proxy for the region’s ruling elite. But the music stopped on the evening of Wednesday, 30 September 2026, when his private helicopter slammed into a field in Marondera, burning so intensely that it required DNA tests to identify his remains. While the state media is quick to blame a sudden cloud bank and pilot disorientation, anyone tracking the geopolitical explosion across Southern Africa knows exactly what cut his life short. Chivayo was playing a deadly game of dealing in arms, and he became a massive liability the moment the tracking lights turned on.
The house of cards began to collapse not in Harare, but across the border. South Africa’s financial investigators—the hawks of the Financial Intelligence Centre—had begun quietly pulling at the threads of Chivayo’s sprawling financial empire. They mapped an illicit pipeline where hundreds of millions, initially paid out by the Zimbabwean government for dummy state tenders, were being siphoned out of local banks and redirected into deep offshore networks. This wasn't just corporate greed; it was the financial fuel needed to bankroll an active, illegal weapons supply chain feeding the brutal civil war in Sudan. Chivayo had even begun buying his way directly into the Malawian political elite, sparking a political firestorm in Blantyre by using his tender-fueled wealth to drop an eye-watering K1.7 billion ($1 million) donation into a high-profile charitable trust, buying access that seamlessly smoothed his regional movements.
But the sheer gravity of the operation attracted too much weight. Western intelligence watchdogs caught wind of a highly sophisticated air bridge operating right out of Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe. Heavy military equipment and missiles were arriving under the false pretense of belonging to the Malawi Defence Force, only to be rapidly processed and re-routed to paramilitary forces in Sudan. Chivayo’s fatal error was recording leaked audios boasting about his untouchable political proximity, effectively making himself the loudest target in the region. With international intelligence agencies tightening the net, Chivayo went from being a highly valuable proxy to an immediate existential threat to the powerful cartels pulling the strings. In these deep-cover networks, a compromised money man is a time bomb waiting to flip and cut a deal to save himself.
The tragic crash in Marondera severed that link with absolute, chilling precision. Proving that the timing was far from a simple coincidence, the hammer fell almost instantly. Less than 24 hours after the helicopter plummeted from the sky, Malawi’s Anti-Corruption Bureau moved in on Thursday morning, 1 October 2026, to arrest the former army chief, General Paul Valentino Phiri, for dealing in terrorist property. The syndicate had closed the loop just in time. By taking Chivayo off the board on Wednesday night, they ensured that when General Phiri stands trial next month, the loud, deep-pocketed proxy who tied Harare's state tenders to the weapons pipelines in Sudan wouldn't be alive to name the true architects behind the shadow war.
Not to mention while the formal criminal indictment only focuses on the specific intercepted window of June and July 2025, the timeline suggests a highly calculated corporate and military runway that was put into motion two full years prior to the final bust.

Ten houses just outside Kampala are proving that low-cost housing doesn’t have to mean low ambition.
Marc Thorpe designed these bungalows almost entirely from Ecoblock, a bio-brick made from 90% local soil, with cement, sand, lime, and water filling the rest. It’s a bioclimatic material, insulating against heat and sound, more resistant than cement block, and it cuts carbon emissions by roughly 30% compared to conventional construction. Fully local, fully recyclable.
Each single-storey home gets flat roofs designed to carry solar panels, generating its own electricity instead of depending fully on the grid. Rainwater harvesting runs off the same roofs into a private water tower, one per house, not shared. That detail matters: Thorpe built it that way specifically so no single household gets left without water if a drought hits or a shared system fails.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining space, wrapped in shaded terraces that block the harsh sun and hold the wood-burning stoves already common in Ugandan homes. Nothing about the plan asks families to abandon how they actually live, it builds around it.
This project, working with Échale and Stage Six, targets middle- and lower-income families in a country facing a real housing shortage. Ten houses is the pilot. If it scales, it’s a genuine answer to the question everyone in this conversation keeps circling: does affordable housing across Africa have to mean cheap materials and imported thinking, or can it mean smart, local, and dignified.

You can have a perfectly valid eTIMS invoice and still have KRA reject it.
Why?
Because KRA can ask: Show me the money trail.
This is extremely critical test that KRA applies.
Example.
You have an eTIMS invoice for KSh 1 million from your Supplier.
KRA can ask: Did you actually pay for these goods?
If you paid the supplier, show the bank or M-Pesa payment evidence.
If the supplier gave you credit, shiw the credit agreement or payment terms and record the KSh 1 million as a debt in your books.
If your good buddy paid the supplier directly for you, show:
• Proof that your buddy paid the supplier
• Your agreement with your buddy
• The repayment terms
• The amount recorded as a liability to your buddy
So, here's how you protect yourself.
For every business purchase, make sure these four things tell the same story.
eTIMS invoice → Proof of payment → Agreement/terms → Accounting records.
If you bought on credit, your books should show that you owe the supplier.
If someone paid on your behalf, your books should show that you owe that person.
If you paid directly, your bank or M-Pesa should show the payment.
Don't wait for a KRA audit to start assembling this evidence.
Build the evidence when you make the purchase.
That way, when KRA asks, “Prove this expense,” you don't start looking for documents. You simply open the file.
That's what good bookkeeping is.

A woman had Netflix for 6 years.
She opened the app. She scrolled. She picked something after 25 minutes. She fell asleep during episode 2. She repeated this every night.
Her friend, a former Netflix UI engineer, sat on her couch one evening and opened Settings on her account. He changed 9 things in under 15 minutes.
Her homepage transformed overnight. The autoplay trailers stopped. The "continue watching" list cleaned itself up. The recommendations got sharper. The buffering on her 4K TV disappeared. The categories multiplied from 30 to 2,200.
She said "it feels like a completely different app."
He said "it is. You've been using the factory settings for 6 years. Netflix ships the version that keeps you scrolling longest, not the version that helps you find something fastest."
Here's every setting he changed 🧵

The full picture of what changed.
Before the 15 minutes in Settings: autoplay trailers blasting on every scroll, 25 minutes of browsing every night, 480p video on a 4K TV, a recommendation engine trained on 6 years of accidental plays and other people's choices, and a Continue Watching row full of abandoned shows pushing real suggestions off the screen.
After: a silent, browsable homepage. Sharp 4K picture quality. An algorithm rebuilt from scratch learning her actual taste. 2,200 hidden categories bookmarked. Readable subtitles. Clean Continue Watching. Offline downloads queued every week. A rating habit that made the recommendations sharper every day.
Same $23/month subscription. Same app. Same catalog of 8,000+ titles. Completely different experience.
Total time: 15 minutes. One evening on the couch.
Most people around you want you to fail,
They expect that when you fail,
• You will join them in their miserable lives,
Or,
• They will inherit your position so that they can succeed like you.
But if you don't meet their expectations of failure, they become even angrier and more hateful towards you for no reason,
Your growth and progress annoy them when you refuse to be the failure they expect.
Your discipline and determination to succeed angers them.
They will even become vengeful when you refuse to listen to their mockery and insults.
Such people cannot go far in life,
They will remain insufferable,
They will remain stagnant because their minds are full of mould as a result of jealousy, and their hearts are coated with thick black soot due to unnecessary hate towards a person who is just minding his business and has not done anything wrong towards them.
The only mistake you made is that you chose to pursue your purpose with discipline, order and consistency.
That is what irks them.
Refuse to accept their mockery and insults.
Focus.
In the end, you will win.

BREAKING: The William Ruto govt signed a defence deal with France allowing French troops to operate inside Kenya.
And now a Parliament report has confirmed it, while trying to amend two of some dangerous clauses partially.
Let that sink in.
At a time when African countries are expelling French military presence, Kenya is opening the door.
The deal is too open and risky.
Here’s the reality:
If a French soldier commits a crime in Kenya:
France can detain them and not kenya
France can influence jurisdiction
If France rushes a trial (even unfairly), Kenya may NEVER prosecute again
That is reduced sovereignty.
The deal allows “training and other activities.”
What exactly are “other activities”? Why so vague?
We’ve already seen what happens with the BATUK:
Community harm and even deaths
Environmental damage by brits using white phosphorus
Weak accountability eg the wanjiru case wher the murderer is being protected in the UK
Now we’re repeating it, with the french military?
Across Africa:
Mali 🇲🇱
Burkina Faso 🇧🇫
Niger 🇳🇪
All pushed out French forces over these exact concerns.
So why is Kenya going backwards?
And here’s the bigger fear:
👉 This is not just about “training”
👉 Kenya risks becoming a base for foreign military operations in Africa, because the french are good at this.
👉 We could be dragged into conflicts that are not ours
Why are we signing deals we would NEVER be allowed to have in Europe?
Why can’t Kenyan forces operate in France the same way?
Because they would never accept it.
So why should we?
Read the agreement. Read the Parliament report. Ask questions.
Before this becomes law.

5.2 acres of land in Italy, a working olive grove that produces oil, private woodland, a renovated stone farmhouse and an 80m² cellar. €260k ($300k).
A lot of people are rethinking where they live and how they live. This is what that looks like in practice.
A courtyard with a wood oven and grape pergola. Three connected structures, 150m² (1,615 sq ft) of living space, 2 beds and 2 baths.
Get Starlink, run your business from anywhere, add solar panels, collect your water. You're largely off-grid.

The Lonely End of a Good Man
He started early. Graduated top of his class.
He secured a PhD before his peers even finished their Masters.
He was a man of discipline. He did not smoke, no drink, no scandals.
He chose one woman, married his best friend, stayed faithful.
He raised four brilliant children, sent them all abroad on merit.
Gave them everything he never had.
They now live good lives in foreign lands married, thriving, far away.
He is now over 70. A professor. A man respected in academic circles, but forgotten in the quiet corners of his own home.
Today, he stands in his kitchen, cooking eba alone.
His wife the woman he built everything with left for a routine visit to help their daughter with childbirth.
That was three years ago.
She never came back, claiming, she wants to get her residency or green card.
Now she belongs to the children.
She FaceTimes him on birthdays and sends love in group chats, but her heart no longer lives here.
He has become a bachelor again by abandonment, not by choice.
This is the lonely end of a good man.
A man who did everything right.
Who never cheated.
Who never strayed.
Who lived by the book.
Who believed love and duty were enough.
And yet, here he is.
Alone.
Heartbroken.
Still in love with a woman who forgot to come home.
And this is not just his story this is the silent fate of many “good men.”
Now the hard questions must be asked:
If he was a polygamist, would one wife have stayed?
If he mingled with friends, built strong social networks, joined the staff club, would it have made the silence less deafening?
If he had a side chick someone who also cared would he feel less invisible now?
If he lived a little less for others and a little more for himself, would this end still look the same?
This is not a call to abandon virtue, but a call to reexamine balance.
Because loyalty is beautiful, but loneliness is brutal.
And love, when it is not mutual in old age, becomes a slow heartbreak no medicine can cure.
To the men reading this;
how do we escape ending up like this?
What structures, relationships, and self-preservation must we build today to ensure we’re not cooking eba alone at 75, asking where everybody went?
Because being good is not enough.
Not anymore!!!!!

If you own land in ushago,
And that land is:
- Outside a municipality
- Outside a town or urban area
- Classified as agricultural land
- And below 50 acres
When you sell it,
- You pay zero Capital Gains Tax.
Regardless of the value.
So, when KRA calls to demand their share,
Explain to them those facts.
And you will walk away with your money intact.
