Self governance, even in the afterlife with @AfterselfAI ( $SELF )
In a world where digitalization takes over and in case everything gets tokenized/stored into wallets we need to assure the funds don't go lost when you suddenly aren't here anymore
Making sure all digital funds are directed to the right people (that you choose ofcourse) in your will, is going to be a big thing in the future
Also your digital network (since most of us are anon on here) has a chance to be included into your will and you have ways to notify others that don't know you irl that your time has come
It's a part of life and we all know what's waiting for us in the end
It might look grim at first.. but I see potential in this concept of @Cruellacodes which she also submitted for the @Pumpfun hackathon

I think this is actually something very relevant right now
Worth to check out @AfterselfAI by @Cruellacodes
She's building something unique where you'll be able to leave a digital will.. all onchain
I just built a banking alternative that works on a flip phone.
Because the war just proved your crypto is only yours until someone turns off the wifi

They raised $5.47M with just the dead man's switch concept alone.
The core idea is validated, someone already proved people will pay for this. We're building a better version of it with more features on better infrastructure.

(1/6) We are excited to continue backing @sarcophagusio DAO to build a decentralized dead-man switch - a self-sovereign inheritance protocol for the metaverse. Blogpost & 🧵👇

I'm going to start buying some $SELF here and there to build a faucet for the first people who set up afterself.
Some of them are devs who probably don't touch solana shitcoins.
I want them in the mortality pool anyway - unknowingly participating in a tontine just because they installed an npm package.
I think that's funny

I almost didn't launch $SELF today. It felt too personal. Talking about your mum dying on crypto twitter felt insane
But the amount of people who reached out saying they went through the same thing or that it hit them in a way they didn't expect - i wasn't ready for that
I'm pretty sure everyone who came across afterself today asked themselves something they've never really sat with before. What happens to my stuff when i'm gone. Who gets my last words. Did i even leave any
Those aren't comfortable questions. But maybe that's the point.
I think afterself is one of those things that doesn't hit you immediately. But it quietly changes how you think about the things you say to people. And whether you're saying enough of them while you can
Afterself started as therapy and turned into the thing i care about most. Nice to know i'm not the only one who thinks it matters
And i'm really glad i stopped being a coward and put it out there

just found out the @pumpfun hackathon is still accepting submissions. sending @afterselfAI / $SELF in
i imagine after reviewing hundreds of trading tools and ai agent platforms, a digital continuity protocol that handles what happens after you die would be a refreshing change of pace at minimum
will keep you posted how it goes

Three months ago I lost my mum.
Losing your mum in your 20s leaves you with this emptiness that you can't really process. It just sits there. And then one day it hits you - no more early morning texts. No more advice when things go wrong. No more her voice telling you to eat something.
All of that just stops. And there's nothing you can do about it.
I tried a lot of ways to get past it. None of them worked. The only thing that helped even a little was keeping my hands busy so I just kept working. Nonstop. Not because I had a vision, just because stopping meant thinking.
And at some point the work stopped being an escape and became the thing itself. I started building something that touched the exact thing I couldn't process.
What if she could've left something behind. A last message. A voice I could hear one more time. Something that didn't just disappear the second she did.
I've been at it for months. Anonymously. Alone.
I wanted to build a protocol for the moment someone goes silent forever.
Final messages that actually send. A voice that fades on your terms, not abruptly.
It's called Afterself.
It runs on a heartbeat. As long as you're alive, you ping. If the pings stop, your trusted contacts confirm. Only then does anything activate. No guesses, no false alarms, just the people you chose and the instructions you left.
And the Mortality Pool isn't what it sounds like. It's a bet on life. As long as you're here, your share grows. When you're gone, what you left behind flows to the living.
This isn't a meme to me. It's the most personal thing I've ever built.
I was going to wait. Claim it a lot later -if ever-, let the work speak for itself. But keeping my mouth shut while this sits on a bonding curve felt worse than putting myself out there. And I'm not going to watch the most personal thing I've ever made die on a bonding curve because nobody knew who was behind it.
So I'm claiming it now.
Afterself is mine.
