How much of the internet has to be fake? How many creators have to be buried under Ai slop? How many artists have to compete with copies of themselves? How many scams and deepfakes? How many kids grow up shaped by algorithms no parent chose? Ai has poisoned everything. Everything is in question now. Even things that are created by humans are met with skepticism. Did a human actually create this? Am I being fooled by a sophisticated Ai? It used to be very easy to spot Ai. Just 3 years ago, we laughed at a distorted video of Will Smith eating spaghetti. Now, we can't tell what's real. This issue has spread far beyond just the internet. Academic papers are written by Ai and reviewed by Ai. How much of our history will be lost or put in doubt? Even a call from a relative, was I actually talking to them? Or was that an algorithm that collected their data and regurgitated their voice? All trust will be lost. As we've seen throughout history, when trust is gone, terrible things happen. Institutions collapse, money loses its value, people get desperate and radical. I am honored to partner with Team Human (teamhuman.org) to gather as many voices who share in this frustration. We are building a future that nobody wants. Team human is building a strategy which puts humans in control of Ai. Check out teamhuman.org to see their plan. #teamhuman #ai

The new After Skool animation will have you questioning reality. I know a lot of videos make this claim, but this one has incredibly compelling evidence. Through a series of experiments, @anilkseth shows how our brain hallucinates things that aren’t really there. Our brains are prediction machines designed to ensure survival. Our expectation of what’s going to happen, filters sensory information. When expectations change, so does “reality”. We’re all hallucinating all the time, but when we agree on our hallucinations, we call it “reality”. youtube.com/watch?v=BBYmL5Ga…

New animation about the strange paradox that happens when we think about our thoughts. We discover that they’re not really “ours”. In this collab with Pursuit of Wonder, we explore where our first thought came from and the beautiful peace of mind that flows when we stop trusting our thoughts. The spell gets broken. Enjoy! youtube.com/watch?v=u9cX14mv…

After Skool turns 10 years old today. 10 years ago I was a clueless fool desperately searching for answers, and today after all these animations, I’m still basically in the same spot. So take everything I say with a grain of salt. After Skool was born out of curiosity and a deep desire to unleash a creative fire. The mission has always been to enhance profound ideas with art. My favorite emails are from people who tell me how an animation has helped them personally. It is deeply humbling when someone says they overcame a drug addiction because of a drawing I made. Or the daily quotes helped someone turn their life around. We’re all fighting our own individual battles, but we’re all on this journey together. May After Skool always be a place where you can visit to have your soul uplifted. All the animations are evergreen and I will keep creating art for as long as I live. Hopefully this art has encouraged you or inspired you in some way. God bless

We become what we oppose. We justify injustice in order to prevent injustice. One becomes quite intolerant in their war against intolerance. The most vocally "anti-gay" preacher is always the one doing gay stuff behind the scenes. "Anti-racist" activists are the most racist people I've ever met. The more we project a mask out into the world, the more its opposite will fester within us.

We spend much of our lives searching and seeking for something. Rumi said, “I searched for God and found only myself. I searched for myself and found only God.” When we turn away from our true self, we end up chasing the wrong things. A painful past can lead to a suppression of our authentic nature and a need to chase a feeling of attachment and acceptance that we were denied when we needed it most. This is why embracing God has been found to be the most effective way to overcome addiction. When we open our hearts to God's unconditional love it fulfills that yearning for attachment. “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator.” ― Pascal

New animation about Ai surveillance. This one is dystopian, but most of us can feel the direction we’re headed. 2 months ago I made a very optimistic video about how Ai will lead to the next human renaissance. This video examines the less optimistic path - where Ai companies are incentivized to turn the world into a virtual prison. youtube.com/watch?v=k7JWIhJG…
