Yazi I wish South African history was mandatory at schools because I don’t think people understand the depth of apartheid and how we are affected today by its ghost!

#KnowYourDA The Constitutional Court ruled today that the City of Cape Town & Western Cape Government entrenched apartheid spatial housing patterns by failing to provide affordable housing in areas such as Sea Point & Cape Town CBD. #CountryDuty

The Constitutional Court has found the Western Cape government and City of Cape Town's sale of the Tafelberg Property was unlawful. It also found the Western Cape government has failed to ensure social housing projects in the CBD to address apartheid legacy. @BDliveSA

Most European/S.American players speak in Portuguese, they don’t care who understands. Our players must normalise speaking their mother’s tongue.

Let me educate you not with anger, but with truth. You assume South Africans lack exposure. You assume we believe other African countries are poor and undeveloped. That is not the case. We know the reality. We know Nigeria has oil. We know Ghana has gold. We know Kenya has tech. We know Botswana has diamonds. We know Zambia has copper. We know Zimbabwe has platinum and lithium. We know the DRC sits on $24 trillion in minerals. We know Africa is rich. But here is what you do not understand, wealth beneath the ground does not translate to prosperity above it. You can have all the minerals in the world but if your leaders steal, your constitutions hostile towards humans rights, if your institutions are corrupt, if your people are divided by tribe, if your healthcare collapses, if your schools crumble, if your youth flee then you are poor. Not in resources. In governance. In accountability. In dignity. We do not look down on Africa. We look at the mirror Africa refuses to face. We see our own flaws corruption, unemployment, crime and we fight them. We protest. We vote. We demand better. That is what makes us different. We do not run. We stay. We build. We hold our leaders accountable, even when it hurts. You say we lack exposure. But we see you. We see your leaders flying overseas to get treated, some in our country to get medical treatment, while your children starve. We see your ports exporting raw minerals while your people have no jobs. We are not blind. We are not ignorant. We are honest. The difference between South Africa and many other African countries is not wealth. It is the willingness to confront failure. We own ours. You run from yours. That is not a lack of exposure. That is a lack of accountability. And until you fix that, no mineral, no resource, no tweet will save you. Go home. Fix your house. Then talk to us about exposure.
A lack of exposure has led many South Africans to assume that other African countries are poor and undeveloped. The reality on the ground often tells a very different story.

The anomaly in South Africa is not just high taxes - it’s paying nearly 50% of your income to the state and still having to fund your own healthcare, education, transport, housing, and security. Citizens are paying twice: once through taxes, and again for the services those taxes should provide.
An average South African 🇿🇦earning between R20k to R50k a month pays almost half of their salary to the government. @sarstax When we are done with illegal immigrationcrisis, there are some serious questions that this government MUST answer!! #TaxRevoltSA

Where is @BBC and @AJEnglish 🤷🏼‍♀️ where is their bias reporting when we need it? All we do is March on the streets and they call it “hunting down foreigners” so why are you sugarcoating this?
🇮🇪⚔️ An armed Irish group has issued a direct warning to politicians: “You have flooded our communities with military-age migrant men. We will not sit back and watch our culture and religion destroyed.” The pushback has begun. Ireland is waking up.

How about not having a past you're ashamed to disclose in the first place? Has moral bankruptcy become so normalized that openly encouraging deception is now being passed off as good advice?
Dear women, Never ever, I repeat, NEVER EVER, discuss your past with your husband or your would-be-husband. Some things need to go with you to your grave! Or else there is a big chance your partner will make sure he digs a living grave for you with whatever you shared with him out of pure honesty and trust. Not everyone has the maturity to understand relationships and the life choices of a woman! #TwishaSharma #TwishaSharmaDeathCase
