TIPS ON HOW TO BECOME A WICKED, SELFISH PERSON:
1. Learn to say no without feeling the need to explain yourself every time.
2. Stop going out of your way for people who wouldn't do half as much for you.
3. Stop putting other people's comfort above your own.
4. Don't keep tolerating nonsense simply because you understand why someone is behaving that way.
5. Stop lending money you cannot afford to lose.
6. Learn to withdraw your kindness when people repeatedly take it for granted.
7. Stop feeling responsible for fixing everyone's problems. Some people need to figure things out themselves.
8. Don't compromise your plans, comfort or opportunities just because someone might feel bad about your decision.
9. Stop giving people access to you simply because you have known them for a long time.
10. Learn to walk away. You don't have to keep explaining yourself or fighting to make people understand why you've had enough.
11. Stop making excuses for people who know exactly what they are doing.
12. Never allow the fear of being misunderstood to stop you from doing what is best for you.
Sometimes, you need to disappoint people to avoid disappointing yourself. Learn to put yourself first. Not every situation requires your sacrifice, understanding or intervention. π
