Surely today is Alvarez decision day ?, absolutely brilliant player and would improve us immeasurably but honestly sick of this saga and just want it over one way or another.

🚨 Arsenal nearing total agreement with Newcastle United to sign Bruno Guimaraes. Desire among all parties to bring situation to close + deal now on course for completion - 28yo awaiting #NUFC permission to undergo medical & seal #AFC switch @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7433264…
Arsenal summer window thoughts-
Seems to be a lot of stress at the minute about summer business but we know berta works on several deals before ‘activating’ one of the options would suggest that things will start to move quite quickly soon.

- Simply repost this to enter
Winners picked on Saturday.
(If you're not feeling lucky the prints - and loads of others - can be found here: matthewjiwood.com/arsenal-po…)
Was so proud of the boys yesterday, if we don’t get there I’ll be looking at wolves game and Bournemouth game as the dark days, not yesterday, until the wheels come off, COYG!
In wake of news today, something Arsenal’s summer window (could) look like
Out-
MLS-40m
Ethan-40m
White-25m
Trossard-15m
Norgaard-5m
Circa 135m
In-
Gordon-75m
Agoume-30m
Neco Williams-25m
Circa 130m
Might not be the most exciting or bang on with personal but stylistically feels right and plus gaps in team.
Surely has to be directed from the manager and I’m sure there’s some nuanced reason I don’t understand but why dk we never have overlapping full back runs anymore we were so dangerous with white only a couple seasons back and even timber when he first came in.
Also long ball from Rays to Gykores needs to stop just never ever works and we very rarely win the second ball, ok when Havertz is up there but makes Gykores is inept in that respect have to play to his trmehts with balls in behind.
Zubimendi should only be playing when able to be plat formed in the attacking third, guy is allergic to passing foward form the 6 and never takes it on the half turn. Swap him and rice if necessary.
Arsenal vs spurs XI:
Raya
White
Saliba
Gabriel
Calafiori
Norgaard
Rice
Odegaard
Saka
Gykores
Eze
Stop rewarding mediocrity try something new.
Arsenal options ie. Merino injury.
1 stay calm- Havertz back and will likely get opportunités in midfield, Eze when against mid block teams at home, MLS minutes there in the cup?
2- see if we can fast track summer plans e.g Bouaddi/ Agoume
3- late minute Loan- Neves/fratessi?
