Both teams unbeaten in the league, but Havant progress in the cup. 2-0 at HT looked comfortable for the visitors, but Varsity showed spirit to get a goal back to set up a nervy ending!

✅ Pre-season game three completed
💪 A really pleasing performance, we learned from last week, and put in a strong performance off the ball and we’re well organised against a very good opponent. Scoring three goals and only a narrow one goal between the two team⚽️

A close contest between two @SthRgnWFL sides, with Division 1 Varsity pushing Prem side Winchester all the way. Plenty of quality on show, including some lovely goals at both ends and a superb header for the Flyers.

🥵 More minutes in the tank in sweltering conditions against a well-organised Varsity side.
Well done to Freya Twigg for netting a hattrick, and to Sian Wylie for a bullet header.
