News: #Red_Sea Afar group calls for #Eritrean President, government to face ‘justice’ at conference in #Ethiopia’s #Afar region
The Red Sea Afar Democratic Organization (#RSADO), an Ethiopia-based political and insurgent group opposing Eritrea’s ruling People’s Front for Democracy and Justice (#PFDJ), has called for President Isaias Afwerki and his government “to be held accountable” for alleged atrocities against the Red Sea Afar people, as it concluded a people’s conference in Logiya city, in Ethiopia’s Afar region held today.
RSADO’s latest conference follows a series of political and military activities by the group over the past year, and amid a sharp deterioration in relations between Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Recently, the organization has also pursued international avenues to raise concerns about the “treatment of the Red Sea Afar community.” Its leaders were recently featured in Israeli media amid reports that the group had sought support from #Israel.

Step by step the needless conflict in Northern Ethiopia is expanding. Even someone as misguided as Eritreans Dictator Isaias should think twice before sending his troops into Ethiopia. When he did that in 1998 he suffered a huge loss. Stop this now.
