One week on, we’re still reflecting on the great conversations and connections from #AfPIF2026 in Kigali. A big thank you to the organisers, delegates and everyone who stopped by to meet and engage with the #AFRINIC team. It was a pleasure connecting with so many people from across Africa’s Internet community.
We cannot thank you enough for the continued support to #AfPIF convening including the #AfPIF2026.
Your entire team was exceptional with their support. Thank you for showing up.
Last week, our team had the pleasure of traveling to Kigali for the African Peering and Interconnection Forum (@AfPIF).
We had a chance to catch up with some of our organization members, fellows, partners, community members, and more. The connections that people build at #AfPIF are priceless, and the transition of this event to the community has been amazing to see.
A huge thank you to DE-CIX for being our fellowship sponsor!👏

We had a great time at the African Peering and Interconnection Forum (AFPIF2026), organized by The African IXP Association !
Our team engaged with key industry stakeholders, strengthening relationships and exploring new opportunities across Africa's internet ecosystem. We were also represented by Ayomide Jones, who joined the data center panel to share insights on the key trends and opportunities shaping the region's digital infrastructure.
Conversations like these reinforce our commitment to building a more connected, resilient, and inclusive digital future for Africa. We look forward to turning these discussions into impactful collaborations across the region.
