3. Right to Emergency Medical Care: Hospitals must provide basic emergency care without demanding advance payment.
4. Right to Informed Consent: Written consent must be taken after explaining the risks, before any potentially hazardous test or treatment.
9. Right to Safety and Quality Care: Patients are entitled to a clean, safe, infection-controlled environment and care that meets accepted standards.
10. Right to Choose Alternative Treatment: You can choose between available treatment options, or refuse treatment after understanding the consequences.

India has multiple security forces, but each one has a different job.
From managing riots and guarding international borders to protecting airports and responding to terrorist threats, different forces work together to safeguard the country.
Understanding their responsibilities also explains why a particular force is deployed during a protest, emergency or security threat.
India also has specialised military units such as the Army's Para SF, the Navy's MARCOS and the Air Force's Garud.
For everyday policing, including theft, traffic violations and local law-and-order issues, State Police is generally the first point of contact.
State Armed Police, Home Guards and the Railway Protection Force also play important roles within their respective areas of responsibility.
India's security framework relies on multiple agencies with distinct responsibilities, training and command structures.
Here is a question for the Jagruk Janta:
Which specialised unit is associated with covert operations under R&AW?

GST compliance could become easier for businesses.
From GST notices and prosecution to delayed refunds and goods being stopped during transit, compliance issues can create financial pressure and unnecessary stress for business owners.
The 57th GST Council meeting recommended several changes to simplify compliance and reduce the burden on genuine taxpayers.
However, these are Council recommendations. Their actual impact will depend on the relevant notifications, legal changes and implementation.
For business owners, staying updated on GST changes is essential to manage compliance, avoid unnecessary disputes and plan operations effectively.
Simpler compliance can help businesses focus more on growth and less on paperwork.
