I can see the abuse angle as someone who had AA give away their (paid!) first class seat on a 7.5 hour flight at T-20 to a nonrev, then they tried to bump me to economy (I canceled and flew United instead)...but that was a gate agent!

I'm sure @JetBlue picking one of their hubs was totally a coincidence 😇
