The Museveni regime has abducted, & forcefully disappeared @LouisKyle_ a student - the second 20-something-year-old abducted within weeks after @AloikinOpoloje! Something must be fundamentally askew when a regime led by octogenerian starts abducting its grand children! #FreeLouisNinsiima

I have just received corroborating information from three independent sources in the SFC, none of whom knows the others, that JohnBosco Kibalama was shot and killed by Asaph Nyakikuru Mweteitse using a PK light machine gun. According to these sources, his body was buried in a mass grave at the Special Forces Command (SFC) headquarters, near the perimeter wall of the late George Kanyeihamba’s house. The sources further prove that the same mass grave contains the remains of 357 other Ugandans who were abducted before, during and after the 2021 military operation masquerading as a general election. Before his reported killing, Kibalama had suffered paralysis, much like our comrade Sam Mugumya. The information I have received also indicates that Sam Mugumya was facing a similar fate. According to the accounts, had videos showing his condition not been released, he too would have been shot and killed. Following the circulation of those videos, he was transferred to another house near Mbuya and his guards courtmartialed, other inmates transferred to Nakasongola barracks. The sources have proof in form of evidence, they need protection as witnesses, and also need to first be evacuated.

Our Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Government Assurances and Implementation, Hon. @AdekeAnna, presented our concluded report and key recommendations before Parliament. We demand that @MoWT_Uganda fully accounts for every shilling received from @mofpedU, expedites verification of all Project Affected Persons (PAPs) across all bridge sites, and ensures their prompt and full compensation. Government assurances must translate into action, not endless promises! We now await Parliament’s final decision following debate on our report, as directed by the Rt. Hon. Speaker.

"He told me he was severely beaten during campaigns..." 💬 Kampala Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere shares a poignant reflection on his conversation with the late Charles Matovu, former Busiro County MP. Matovu, who was actively challenging the election victory of Kenan Opio, passed away on Thursday night. According to his family, doctors discovered brain bleeding after he fell suddenly ill, but he passed away before surgery could be performed. #MonitorUpdates 📹: @sserugopeter8

Lukwago was rushed to Mulago in a dire state on Monday. Meanwhile, Museveni's Son tweeted this last night: "I'm not bothered about Lukwago's illness. He looks healthy enough to be hanged." African leaders get away with dehumanising Africans in barbaric ways, man! These guys wouldn't keep slaves: they'd torture each of them to death for pleasure! Meanwhile, the magistrate in Lukwago's case continues to deny him bail. She asked for a report from Mulago about his health claims. Seven specialists - the best in the land - examined Lukwago and issued a dire report that he needs urgent medical treatment abroad, where he was getting it until his arrest in June this year. Armed with the report, the magistrate decided she needs another report from Uganda Prisons that they - the prison's hospital, that is - can't handle Lukwago's condition as a prerequisite for giving him bail. The prisons said they can handle the sicknesses that Specialists from the National Referral Hospital said they cannot handle! Recently, Lukwago was rushed out of prisons to receive treatment at a private facility in Lubowa, it failed and he is now at Mulago! The last time a pingpong like this, with prisons insisting they could treat someone as specialists called for bail and immediate advanced treatment played out was in 2007. In that particularly case, the Ugandan involved, Joseph Musasizi Kifefe, young brother to Dr Kizza Besigye, died in the end. The autopsy report, like all autopsy reports, didn't capture the bid of him being denied bail until he was too sick to be saved; it simply said Musasizi, known as Saasi, died of "Kidney failure"! Guys, what is this thing we, "the God-fearing country", are building for ourselves? When this building is done, what do we want to see, exactly?!
