Our brother Peter Obi is too empty to lead 200 million intelligent people. His utterances have proven it again and again. Hear it directly from an Igbo man.

You cannot bully Nigerians into voting for Peter Obi and then turn around to preach democracy. You cannot insult people for supporting another candidate, dismiss every opposing opinion as propaganda, and still expect everyone to believe your movement represents a new political culture. You don’t build a better democracy by denying people the freedom to disagree with you.

Recently I met with migrant care workers again, because talking to people impacted by our policy is important and helps make sure the right decisions are made. Care workers should be exempt from retrospective settlement extensions.

The argument that we can’t exempt overseas care workers from retrospective settlement extensions because they might leave the sector is not just wrong. It’s cruel. We should not be keeping care workers in the sector by trapping them in it, at the mercy of sponsors who know they have nowhere else to go. That creates the conditions for exploitation and a race to the bottom. If we want care workers to stay, the answer is simple: treat them with dignity, improve working conditions, allow them to progress in their careers, move between employers and integrate into our communities. And honour the five-year route to settlement they came here under. We have an opportunity to do the right thing. Firm but fair. Let’s not forget the fair bit.

We knew where we were before Tinubu came. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu came to stop the fake life we live and set us on the right path. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a pretentious president who wants to look good at all costs while the country bleeds; that's why he took the bull by the horns and kick-started the reforms that have earned us much respect among the comity of nations. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must consolidate this by returning as President in 2027. #TinubuTill2031

I sometimes enjoy listening to Obidients who have seen the light. Tinubu is a political shark because he's ordained by God to be political shark, and that's why he's been able to do what other president couldn’t do.

Dos Santos created a video about Peter Obi, featured on What’s Trending on Arise TV. In the future, Peter Obi won't say “Somebody should show me a video” because then I will present videos. My goal has been fulfilled. Peter, I will be watching you from now on.🫵 Thanks, Political Analyst/Researcher/Record Keeper

Dear @DONUKOGBARA, I have to admit, your rejoinder was rather revealing. Damn! I had actually intended to leave my response at my original post because, quite frankly, I have very little interest in dragging an older woman on social media. I cannot even remember the last time I had to speak this harshly to someone significantly older than me. But then you responded by telling us that there is nothing more satisfying than discovering that your enemies are morons and imbeciles. That certainly explains a great deal. You present yourself as an educated, experienced and exposed woman, yet when challenged on something you said, your first response was an insult. What I genuinely expected from someone with your age and “experience” was a more dignified and thoughtful defence of your position. But I guess that expectation was too high for a woman with a mindset like yours. You mentioned that APC should recruit smarter trolls. Perhaps some of the people who responded to you are APC trolls. I AM NOT! I am saying this here and I will say it anywhere. I am nobody’s troll, and especially not APC’s. I do not do political parties. I do individuals! Nobody attacked you because you mentioned APC. This was never about APC. I do not even remember APC being the issue in the part of the interview that caused the reaction. You spoke very favourably about Peter Obi and then described Northerners as riffraffs. People challenged you on that. Then came the explanation that perhaps you meant Northern political leaders. Fine. Let us even accept that explanation. You still have no right to generalise and describe the leaders produced by an entire region as riffraffs. We have had good leaders. We have had bad leaders. We have had leaders whose records deserve serious criticism. That is true everywhere in the world. It is not peculiar to Northern Nigeria. So please do not turn this into an APC argument when it was never about APC in the first place. You are free to support Peter Obi and also free to criticise Northern politicians. You are free to support or oppose any political party or politician you choose. Nobody has a problem with that and certainly not me… The problem is reducing an entire people, or even an entire region’s political leadership, to riffraffs and then dismissing anyone who objects as a moron or an imbecile. And let me make something very clear. I am not intimidated by your age, your education, your exposure or your experience. I respect age, but age alone does not command my intellectual respect. You could have explained your position. You could have clarified what you meant. You could have defended your examples. You could even have told us that you thought our response were unfair. Instead, you chose to call your critics morons and imbeciles. I will not return the favour. Not because I cannot, but because I do not need to reduce you to an insult in order to make my point. Your responses have already said enough. So, I will allow people to decide for themselves which response demonstrates greater intellectual substance. Gracias ☺️
DEAR APC, PLEASE RECRUIT SMARTER TROLLS!

Global oil markets remained under pressure in September as the conflict in the Middle East kept crude prices above $100 per barrel, while tight refined-product supplies and rising freight costs added to the cost of moving fuel across international markets. Despite reports that Middle East crude oil exports have recovered to about 98% of their pre-war levels, Brent crude still ended September at $103.50 per barrel, 42.8% higher than the $72.48 per barrel it traded at before the U.S. attacked Iran on September 28. Here are the Top 10 African countries with the highest petrol prices in September.
