Many thanks to Naveeda, Deputy Chief Executive & Director of Central Services at @CCHACorporate for giving Yr11 pupils from @willowshigh a very informative session on careers in Accountancy and finance in general. Naveeda's career journey was very interesting for pupils to hear.

Many thanks to Leah from @superdrug Beauty Salon for giving pupils from @byd_and_cc an excellent career visit. Pupils learnt about the different routes into beauty, the skills needed and did really well doing each others nails in the salon.

Many thanks to Ifan, Rhys & colleagues at @hootstudiosuk for giving A Level Music students from @officialCHS an excellent studio visit. Pupils learnt about careers in the sector and experienced fascinating sound design and mixing workshops for TV, Film and Podcasts.

Many thanks to Sophie and Chris from @BootsUK for giving pupils from @BOLHSMarion an excellent career experience. Pupils learnt about the jobs available in store, what people's duties are, had a tour of the work areas and took part in a customer order picking task.

Many thanks to Jon and the team at the Potting Shed Cafe @insolecourt for giving pupils from @WoodlandsH an excellent Catering & Hospitality career visit. Pupils learnt about different roles by making hot chocolate and cakes and had a tour of the cafe and facilities.

Many thanks to @CSACatapult and @VishayIndust for having Yr9 top set Maths pupils from @CardiffWestCHS on an excellent career visit to their labs. Pupils learnt a lot about careers in the semiconductor sector, had a tour of the labs and had a go at activities during their visit.

Many thanks to @arupuk and @viridoruk for delivering an excellent engineering industry day to Yr9 pupils at @willowshigh. Pupils learnt about a range of local engineering careers and took part in workshops in recycled energy and building a self propelled car.
