Yesterday, we continued our CPR and defibrillator training for Addison Lee drivers, delivered with St John Ambulance at our West Drayton Fleet Hub. Our CEO Patrick Gallagher joined drivers on the training, inspired by driver Godwin Omotobora, whose CPR skills helped save a passenger's life. "Our drivers are at the heart of everything we do, and giving them the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency is something we're incredibly proud of. We were delighted to host another inspiring Addison Lee X Think Pink event at our West Drayton Fleet Hub, bringing together women working towards their licence, newly licensed drivers and our current female drivers. With women making up less than 7% of private hire and taxi drivers across the UK, there’s a real opportunity to increase representation and create a more inclusive industry. The afternoon was filled with mentorship, advice and shared experiences, giving future drivers the chance to ask questions, learn about the driver deal and get a closer look at the vehicles they’ll soon be driving.
