Washington has discovered a brilliant financial strategy. Cut benefits for people who need them, cut taxes for people who don't, and borrow the difference from people who aren't old enough to vote.
I'm a Bengals fan who mourned his Dad. I am so proud and happy for this young man. ❤️
Chris Henry Jr. was two years old when his father passed away.
He wears his dad's old number at Ohio State now. 15.
And the man who raised him did it to keep him from turning out like himself.
Here is the whole thing.
His father was Chris Henry. Five seasons as a receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. He was 26.
The son was two. He does not remember him.
So he studies him. He watches his father's film, and the West Virginia games are his favorite.
Here is what he says about that.
"When I watch him it's like we run the same, catch the same. It's crazy."
Now here is the number.
15 was his father's. In junior high he and his younger brother could not both have it, so they split it. Chris wore 1. His brother wore 5.
"We couldn't choose whoever wanted 15 so we just made it work."
Now here is the part almost nobody knows.
Adam Jones played at West Virginia with his father and then in Cincinnati with him. Everybody calls him Pacman. He spent years as the most troubled man in the league and he is the first to say so.
After the funeral he called the boys' mother in Charlotte and told her to pack up.
"Y'all need to uproot and move up here with us. We'll help you out."
So they did. Years later Jones and his wife Tishana became the boys' legal guardians.
He has said plainly why. He was not about to let these boys make the same mistakes he made.
He drove them to school. He trained them in the offseason. The kid calls him Uncle Pac.
Here is his high school coach, who also played at West Virginia with his father.
"Sometimes I see Chris in my peripheral and I have to take a double take because it looks exactly like his father."
So here is where he is.
He is a true freshman at Ohio State. In his first college game, his first catch went for a touchdown. It went 15 yards.
He got a Bengals tattoo for his dad in February.
Two weeks ago he made his first career start. Today he plays at Indiana, number four against number five, in the biggest game of the day.
Now the honest part. He is a freshman with a handful of catches and the whole thing in front of him, and he said it better than I can.
"It's cool getting all this praise at a young age, but I'm not where I want to be at yet."
But a two year old lost his father, and a man with nothing to prove to anybody drove to North Carolina and brought the family home.
Now the kid wears 15 and catches touchdowns in it.

Cats out of the bag … or den! 🐯🐯
Our little tiger ladies are officially on habitat for all guests to see! Zookeepers are following mom, Ndari’s lead on where and how the cubs spend their time. They will have access to the main habitat as well as their behind-the-scenes den, where they may choose to rest or nap.
You may notice modifications to the yard, like extra logs in the water; these “baby proofing” measures are important to help keep little cubs safe in a big space. The cubs have been introduced to shallow pools behind the scenes but are now exploring the larger space for the first time!
Since tigers are a solitary species, adults typically only spend time together for breeding, and female tigers are solely involved in cub rearing. Rakan will alternate in the main habitat in the coming weeks, but for now our cubs and mom are taking the front seat.
Stay tuned for more footage of these tiny tigers exploring their huge habitat!
