The Macklemore/Ed Sheeran thing is just a reminder that some people hate the courageous but almost everyone hates the cowardly.

sooo while ed is getting cancelled rightfully i feel like it’s way too quiet about the bigger enemy here… i mean are we going to ignore the fact that he was told to drop macklemore by the promoter??? which is live nation??
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The promoter for Ed Sheeran's tour is Messina Touring Group, not Live Nation. Messina stated that it made the decision to remove Macklemore after venue operators threatened to cancel scheduled shows. rollingstone.com/music/music-ne…

There are courses teaching girls how to treat men. They’re called self defense classes and martial arts. Hope this helps.
NEWS: The UK will teach boys how to treat women and girls with respect. But why aren’t there classes to teach girls how to treat a man? Sounds unfair

Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false. We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified. The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project. The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion. It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind. If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO

Let me get this straight... OpenAl was founded as a nonprofit. Open source. For everyone. "To benefit humanity." Then he raised billions of dollars. Then he closed the source code. Then he converted to for-profit. Then he scraped the entire internet without asking anyone. Then he used YOUR writing YOUR art YOUR code to train his models. Now he's on stage saying you'll pay HIM to access intelligence. Just like a water meter. He stole all of your data. He built the product with your work. And now he's going to bill you to use it... Corporate greed has reached an all time high, and they're not even hiding it anymore...
Open AI CEO, Sam Altman: “We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter.”

I think growing up around women who rarely wore makeup, except for special occasions and that definitely shaped how I relate to it. I never really learned to see makeup as a prerequisite for looking presentable, feminine or put together. But beyond that, as I've gotten older,
People who wear little to no makeup? Do you have a reason?

My cousin was sexually assaulted, and some of the relatives asked, “Why didn’t she fight back?” I said, “Handing over your wallet when you're getting mugged is seen as a way to keep yourself safe. Yet when you comply during Sexual Assault, people ask why you didn't fight back.” Silence in the room

Its funny how everyone's idea of heaven is a complete untouched paradise, crystal clear waters, lush green forests, enough food for everyone, classless, moneyless, stateless, a utopia of peace, unity and happiness. But here on earth it's considered a leftist ideology

i only watched Part 6 and 8 of the Peter series so i may have incomplete information, but it looks like Peter believes Jude is the problem and he’s manipulating Paul. my hot take is that Paul is actually the wicked, jealous and manipulative twin and Jude is taking advantage.
