Update. 2 nights in auckland. Hotel paid for, food paid for. The hotel has a pool... I packed my swimsuit. 😁 Heck yeah..

To top the weekend off, my flight had to be diverted to auckland and I'm not getting home today 💀

Melbourne this morning 🥲 Going to be a beautiful clear day, at least I'll be able to fly home 🛫

Got to my hotel at the airport ok. Glad we called it early today. Disappointed in the cancellation but was the right thing to do. Rider safety should always come first. Farewell Phillip Island. You've been wonderful #MotoGP #AustralianGP

MotoGP race has been cancelled. Absolutely devastating to leave the island this way. #MotoGP #AustralianGP

We've decided to call it quits and head to hotel. A lack of info @ track, my phone not picking up the internet for updates plus the fact I've been soaked since 8am We are heading out now and far from the only people doing so. Traffic is insane already.

Ahhh, I don't think we are racing today. Next update 2pm local time. 1 hour 20min ish. No track action before 3pm local at the earliest. We are in Cowes currently having given up being trackside for now. #MotoGP #AustralaianGP

We are officially retreating to tent, may try again later but will await confirmation before returning to track #MotoGP #AustralianGP

The Marshalls seem to be leaving #MotoGP #AustralianGP

The update at the track "check our live blog" - the live blog. No update for 1 hour 50 minutes. Ok 👍 MotoGP warm up is postponed not cancelled. This may be my last update as my phone is so wet it's typing the wrong letters 💀 I will try post again soon. #MotoGP #AustralianGP

Current Phillip Island conditions. My hotel shower tonight is going to go so hard. Naturally we haven't had an update in an hour. #MotoGP #AustralianGP

Australian superbikes race 3 has been cancelled and MotoGP warm up postponed. I can confirm it's wet.

If it’s too wet or dangerous for a rider parade, it’s too dangerous to send riders out without a warm-up. Keep it for #MotoGP. Bring it back for #Moto2 and #Moto3. 🏁 Safety first. Every class. Every rider.

I have no words for today's experiences. Two garages and parc ferme. I have a million photos but here's a few more. Thank you LCR, thank you Ducati and than you fellow podcast host PozzA. #MotoGP #AustralianGP
