Parenting young children is a series of low stakes high risk decisions 24/7. A simple answer to “did you put salt on my eggs” could mean a peaceful breakfast or an absolute meltdown that sets the day back by 2 hours. This is but one of the 100 decisions you must make with perfection before 8am..

The best founders in the world weren’t psychic. It seemed like they predicted the future, but they just made an informed bet and it paid off. @dynamic_xyz had a crazy vision: that every app would need a wallet in the next five years. It's been pretty cool to see that playing out. Again, not magic. We had a vision and we validated it. As a product leader, my lifeblood is dogfooding to get feedback as quickly as humanly possible.

If you aren’t betting on something, you're gonna lose. Gretzky said to “skate where the puck is going,” and that’s how we built @dynamic_xyz. You need to bet on a specific future, then build for it. Sometimes it makes you look crazy but it’s the only way to win.

An @NPR guy tried to get an AI doomer take from me at @OpenAI day last month. That reporter didn’t get the soundbite he wanted. Little did he know I’m the most bullish guy in the room (a room full of AI optimists nerding out). As a dad, it feels like my kids will have superpowers because of AI. And one day, they'll go to Mars.

Awesome to moderate this panel on agents and get back in the public-speaking side of my brain. xitter.cf/FireblocksHQ/status/21…
Agents don't wait for settlement windows. @AdamGregZ moderating the onchain economy panel at @AgenticZero with @mickeynegus, @bholden, and @organ_danny on how agentic systems reshape capital management.

We’re introducing Business Accounts. I’m proud of how quickly the @dynamic_xyz team is shipping and this is just the beginning. There’s a lot more coming from us. The team is cooking.
Businesses are multiplayer. Now their money is too. Today, we're launching Business Accounts, so teams can manage money together while retaining control of their assets. Business Accounts give each business shared control across its wallets, with policies, approval workflows, and team permissions built in.

We're making money multiplayer. Businesses run on teams. Now agents are working with them too. Teams need new ways to move and manage money together. More to come…

Very cool to be onsite at @OpenAI Dev Day yesterday. High energy, high excitement. Felt a bit like an Apple event, but with experimental energy that reminds me of early crypto. It’s clear OpenAI is going after new verticals and pushing to build a global community. 3 takeaways: #1 Buzz is still around models, not what people are doing with them You see this a lot at AI conferences in the Bay. People don’t talk about what they're actually trying to do; everyone was just excited for Astra Light and Astra Superfast. I don’t think this model conversation is going to stay as the main focus. What businesses do with the models is much more interesting. And token spend and budgets were a hot-button topic. Most people don’t know how to validate whether Opus 6.6 is better than 5.5, and for which tasks. Smaller companies in particular care about this, but no one’s sure how to do it. #2 Early crypto energy, without the crypto These are hungry startups trying to crack the puzzle. 90% might not exist in a year. They’re ambitious and experimental, debating nuances most people don’t understand. Not really seeing established companies who’ve won the market and are focused on features. No one was talking about payments or crypto, but the vibes on the floor were like the early days. Just with compute and inference swapped for memecoin talk (luckily). #3 OpenAI is going after multiple categories Dots goes after 2 or 3 categories: @Muse, @noahrshinn's Instinct, @SierraPlatform, even @Cognition. They want engineers building directly on OpenAI. At the same time, they’re announcing extensions and marketplaces in collab with Cognition. With Spaces, they’re effectively trying to kill @NotionHQ. Bringing companies’ internal brain into the ecosystem gives agents a lot of context so they can accomplish more. Finally, everyone was pushing the Decisions API even though it wasn’t really built as a product. Seems like they see @typesafeai's Jev as a competitive disruptor and want to get an edge here. Overall, cool room to be in at a wild moment in tech.

Last night I used @Muse to get 4 quotes in 20 minutes for work on my kitchen. The bombardment this is going to create for businesses when millions are using Muse is insane. It’s a fundamentally different way of interacting.

I miss the weird creative blockchain era. Projects like a crypto Tamagotchi that died if you didn’t feed it tokens, or “vape 2 earn” that rewarded you for quitting smoking. I’m happy the industry is in a place where crypto rails are getting to the masses. But that free expression and ridiculousness was so cool.

In SF’s VC/AI world we’re Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada. Experimenting with personalized agents, debating the nuances of Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Luna. The average person doesn’t care about agents (or embedded wallets, for that matter). But this tech is still going to reach them, just through more commonplace interfaces like Muse. It’s like cerulean blue on the runway, then the mass-market sweater 3 years later. We’re not in another world, just on the frontier. youtube.com/watch?v=vL-KQij0…

The biggest change when moving from NY to SF coast is having to slow down how you order a BEC or an everything bagel scooped with cream cheese and tomato. The west-coast mind just cant process that kind of ramble order.

Flashback to @Google’s Web3 AI summit on the 1st. Felt like an idiot in a room of the smartest game theorists, economists, and researchers (awesome). Saw some insane demos of how agentic networks can simulate real-world interactions. Agents can be self-serving, and researchers use crafty goals to get outcomes they want. One simulation library used an interaction pattern inspired by role-playing games like Dungeons + Dragons.
