Used to write about Everton. You've probably disagreed with my player ratings at some point. Simpsons memes welcome. #GoFins

So did Mykolenko get booked for getting fronted there? What's the thinking ref?

Great game from Hackney in general, just seems clear he can't play in that deeper midfield role in this team as it stands. He'd be fantastic in the 10 Goal and an assist tonight should have him firmly in Moyes' thoughts for Monday

Incredible that both sets of fans are going into this game with the equal and opposite feelings for their clubs thanks to this draw tonight
You don’t even need to watch NUFC tomorrow to see if they progress in the cup. The draw tonight will be the decider. Nice home tie, or tie against one of the lower league clubs. Everton win. Man City or Liverpool? Newcastle United win. Shite having the draw before every result

A result which is now probably going to shed a different light on the performances that came before it The "unbeaten" tag really papered over a lot of massive cracks in this Everton team at the start of this season. Giving up far too many easy goals and spurning too many chances

Chelsea came into this game with the joint worst defence in the league and you wouldn't know it. Second half especially they had nothing to do Penny for the thoughts of the likes of Hackney who couldn't get a touch when we needed a goal, despite being so promising this season

Are there stats for how bad teams start second halves? And, if there are, surely Everton are rock bottom? Feel like we've been dreadful after the break my whole life

I know the term "game's gone" gets used too much, but you see a great tackle from Armstrong leading to a booking and you're just like 🤷‍♂️

What's the point of this game? If City are going to be punished as everyone expects, this game should really mean nothing. But now Gravenberch has been sent off, so it affects another game after this through his suspension This lack of punishment is absolutely ridiculous

Phenomenal journalist and an even better person, @joe_thomas18 will be a huge loss to the Everton scene but a massive gain to wherever he goes next (Didn't get my own picture last night so I'm piggybacking off Gav who actually thought ahead to get one 😂)
Said farewell to @joe_thomas18 tonight - great journalist, great Everton journalist and, most importantly, a top man. I'm sure Joe will be hugely successful in whatever he does in the future but best wishes anyway.

Looked like that was pretty "in the middle of the goal"...wonder if Bellingham is fuming or not? (Spoiler: he shouldn't be, just as he shouldn't have been a few months ago)

Ok...how on earth did the Saints get given that TD after review? Ravens fans should be absolutely fuming

Gary Neville should never commentate a United game again, completely infuriating to listen to

"Was that given for a foul on Donnarumma maybe?" at the end Maybe it was for Maguire throwing his man to the floor right in front of the camera Gary, just a thought

Absolutely this, in a straight line Dorgu will be playing him on
The TV angles provided on that offside decision have been terrible

Letter of the law, whatever, it's probably a red But are we honestly happy with people being sent off for that? There was no dangerous power in that kick. Surely a talking to, maybe a booking a piece, is the better outcome there?

Pretty wild that this is still up
Everton thought they had rescued a point against Manchester United after Tyrique George smashed his effort past Senne Lammens. Enter Benjamin Sesko. Jordan Pickford got a hand to the Slovenian forward's powerful header, but he couldn't claw it away. 🔗 nyti.ms/4zXOMRT

Be better off just shoving Keane up front

This Armstrong/Ndiaye desperation to sell from Everton suggests that there's actually much more of a money problem than Kinnear led everybody to believe just a few weeks ago They seem to think communication just means get in front of a camera, but not lying is also a major part

Modern football might as well just be played on accounting books. Zero chance that Everton should be selling one of their best young players in a generation (who could easily be an England regular in the future), especially to a team that's not challenging for every trophy

It's just all about "pure profit" and "amortisation"...who finds this fun? This isn't what football is meant to be about

The price, the timing in the window...absolutely none of it makes sense for Everton. Why on earth are they entertaining it?
Nottingham Forest are advancing in talks with Everton for Harrison Armstrong. Deal worth £40m plus clauses progressing. No player agreement on the transfer as it stands with the 19 year-old opting to play today at Bournemouth 🔵
