Two companies with compliance at their core joining forces to make stablecoin payments better! 🤝
Your business holds $USDC, and a vendor invoices you in $RLUSD. Now what? Today that mismatch sits in the middle of your payment: go to an exchange or OTC desk, sell your USDC, buy RLUSD, eat the slippage and fees, wait for it to settle, maybe bridge chains, and then finally pay the invoice. All of that to move from a dollar to a dollar. Together with @notabene_id, we’re removing this complexity. Notabene Flow orchestrates the invoice payment, the TBMC clearinghouse converts between stablecoins with no slippage, 1:1, and with predictable timing. You pay in what you hold, your vendor receives what they want, and you never think about the step in between. First payment through the integration? Our own invoice. We’re a Notabene customer, so we paid them through Flow with the TBMC clearinghouse handling conversion. Watch @SamBroner and @na_alice make the payment live:

There shouldn’t be a single standard for when to freeze a stablecoin. Different stablecoins should freeze under different (transparent) conditions. I want my stablecoin I use in DeFi to have stricter freeze conditions than the stablecoin used by my bank to move money under the hood. Companies will want to make this decision for themselves on behalf of their users. One big reason why there will be hundreds or thousands of stablecoins in the long run.
these two separate "Tether freezes" news out today are wild, not just for the news themselves but the bigger point of Tether controlling $180B with the flip of a switch. I'm not saying stablecoin issuers shouldn't freeze accounts in the case of hacks and other extreme cases, but there should be a predictable standard to do so. I think the lowest risk option is to do so only do under court order (I believe that's what Circle does), the problem is that's often too slow and hackers will get away. but some intermediate process that's not completely arbitrary.

Movie pitch: The Departed, but for AI agents. A rogue agent is undercover inside the control monitors. A control monitor is undercover among the rogue agents. Each is trying to figure out who (what?) the other is. Who gets flipped? Fate of humanity is at stake. Your welcome Hollywood

We don't trade dollars with fiat - we shouldn't do that with stablecoins either! This is essential for stablecoins to cross the chasm to be better money. The BIS knows this: bis.org/speeches/20260828-pu…
Selling a stablecoin on an exchange treats it like an asset. For payments, that's fundamentally the wrong approach. The TBMC clearinghouse eliminates the trade from moving between dollars: direct integrations with issuers, 1:1 redemption, stablecoin to stablecoin. Our co-founder, @AdamZuck13, breaks it down on @withpersona's Personally podcast.

Imagine launching a new bank and needing to pay seven figures to Citadel to market make your wires to ensure there is enough liquidity. That's how moving between different tokenized dollars works today. It shouldn't be. And doesn't need to be.

The most important stablecoin technology is often the infrastructure users never see. Liquidity, wallets, orchestration, compliance and interoperability allow stablecoins to move reliably between assets, networks and markets. This group of Rising Influencers to Watch in North America is building those foundations. Recognised in the Stablecoins Most Influential 2026 list: @gizmothegizzer, Founder & CEO @perena @catgu_, Head of Digital Assets Product @SolanaFndn @jackchong_jc, CEO @checkercorp @KevLeht, CEO @borderlessxyz @nassyweazy, CEO @Bastion @rodrifernandezt, Co-founder @crossmint @rynesaxe, CEO @eco @SamBroner, Co-founder @bettermoney_co Their work spans stablecoin-native finance, global liquidity, programmable wallets, payment orchestration and clearing infrastructure. Together, they are tackling the complexity behind the technology so the next generation of stablecoin products can scale. Join us in congratulating them and explore the full Stablecoins Most Influential 2026 list.

Incredible to be able to spend the July 4th weekend watching the greatest athletes on earth compete under brutal heat, with their nation watching, and everything on the line. The grit. The performance under pressure. The hours, days, and years of hard work behind the scenes paying off. The best of the best rising to the top. Joey Chestnut still the GOAT. Absolute dominance.

At any given moment, almost every company has money that is unaccounted for. It isn't missing, and it isn't stolen. It's sitting somewhere in transit, stuck between accounts. Our colleague Anuj spent years in treasury on the settlements team at one of the world's largest payment networks, coordinating daily settlement across thousands of banks in over 100 countries. And the job still came down to one question: did the money move correctly? The problem isn't speed or the people managing settlements. It's that a payment crosses several institutions that each keep an independent ledger, and those ledgers rarely agree. SWIFT processes roughly $5 trillion daily but never holds or moves a dollar. The money settles across a network of correspondent banks, each managing its own books. That architecture made sense when banks kept paper ledgers, but even once the paper became software, the fragmentation stayed. So what happens in practice? Sometimes the money simply doesn't show up. A client confirms a payment but the recipient sees nothing, which opens a two-week investigation across four parties until someone finds it stuck at a correspondent bank in between. It's tempting to think AI solves this, but an agent working faster is still doing the same work because the payment still crosses institutions whose ledgers don't agree. The fix isn't faster people or smarter software on top of broken architecture. It's a shared truth. Stablecoins provide exactly that. A stablecoin dollar lives on a programmable ledger that every party to a payment can see. The payment and the proof of the payment are one event, not a message in one system and a settlement spread across numerous others. For years we've tried to upgrade the systems and processes around money. Stablecoins upgrade the money itself.

Building on top of another company's stablecoin is a huge platform risk. Company's building stablecoin products will want to control when they freeze their customers' funds. They will want to control the interaction with authorities requesting the freeze. They will want to control the process to be able to unfreeze. They will want to control the timing and comms to their customers around a freeze. They will want to control how/what frozen assets are seized. This is one of the main reasons why we will have hundreds of stablecoins. Companies will demand this level of control over their product and user experience. xitter.cf/AdamZuck13/status/2041…
