This is how overpowered the s2 mini gun heli is with a player with about 50 hours total of flying. (wardogs being the first game ive tried flying)
-I am able to spend way more time than the average player to learn heli.
-this was a super ez heli lobby as well. little to no AA. people didnt really try shooting at me.
-Players you see on twitter going viral will easily drop 100+ kills in this lobby. but they are the .01%
- I am typically better than the average gamer at things like this once i get going.
- I fly with roll on my mouse.
Looks a lot different than the dudes with 200+ hours. Obviously i also have a hand full of clips of me making the heli look broken. But the reality is this is what 99% of the time looks like as i keep learning. how tf am i supposed to not lose 300k plus a game
This is also why Helis got nerfed when they shouldn’t. I think when the devs release data it’s going to be miss leading because the common response to a good pilot is just complaining and not actually doing anything in game about it. People don’t want to be heavy or waste space for counters. They want their gear. People need to keep that in mind. A lot of just blind hate because 1. They cannt use it because it’s too hard even tho it’s broken apparently and 2. When they die they feel helpless because they refuse to counter it themself and wait for their team to deal with it. So they hate it.
Blue has a tank terrorizing both teams. I offered THREE times to drop C4, RPGs, any answer they wanted #Wardogs
Nothing.
A few minutes later, complaints in ALL chat about the tank being overpowered.
"Someone please kill this tank"
Honestly, the single biggest problem in Wardogs is the community lol 😆

Helis on wardogs rn are so bad. BUT the player base still has an issue with it…. I unlocked the rocket heli after hours and hours of grinding because minigun was useless. I got a lobby where they were building a ton of motars and drills but no AA. So I swapped to my rocket and started bullying them. Instead of building or using any anti air. (Or even shooting at me) they started to type to spam reported me instead why crying. Note I wasnt getting alot of kills. Just kept destroying their APC and drills and a couple kills in between. Then they built a cwis on top of a tower and I no longer could use it because my team also didn’t build anything of use.
Helis arnt broken, players just arnt learning. I swear there were only a couple real issues with helis like the grenade launcher and havcs. everything else is just catering to players not wanting to think. just HZ runners.

The helicopter is underpowered.
It's easier to hit 5-10 bullets sitting in a bush with a rifle than it is to hit 5-10 bullets while aiming an unrevivable $20.000 helicopter everyone's looking at.

Fun fact, you get I think $45 for flying a heli under a bridge. (diminishing returns if you do it again quickly)
Maybe that should pay more than closing a door. Not that I mind paying people for closing doors, lol #Wardogs
I think wardogs needs someone in there with Heli interest in mind. I mean this fully respectfully, but there seems to be a massive disconnect from how good helis actually were last season. Like how are we adding more counters when there was already a billion of counters being used. also Drivers getting tanks pre 20 makes 0 sense. Cwis is now a laser sniper. Cant wait tell im getting locked on 24/7. I feel learning heli was also a major selling point of this game to me. and can be for many other fps players that have never tried flying. but not like this.
W team!! This is all we can ask for! A quick response.
I have a couple more criticism from grinding all day.
- Support level 1-8 is absolutely miserable (maybe Logi people gets less role xp and more support xp) then they get full xp when they are transporting people or other. not that big of a deal overall tho. once people get t3. its ez to catch up
- Building feel not very rewarding but i think its because of the start of a wipe. so want to feel this one out more.
and my biggest one.. not trying to be biased since i recently started to learn heli. But holy shit minigun feel like a bb gun. and in general this update just feels like a fuck you heli update. I like the rain but at least can we get clean windows. but yah minigun heli i feel like everyone has lv 4 amour already

Hood warfare 2 has made (estimate) of $600k+ in revenue. minus steam's share, that is about $480k or so in USD they have made. The game cost $5 by the way.
With that being said, dont listen to people who say "dont use asset store assets" and "dont use ai in code"
just ship the game, make sure it is affordable and fun, and love what you do.
What a fucken shame how much people are up and arms about this. They have absolutely 0 reason to be apologetic. Is there probably a ton of 1st place worthy clips? Of course! But the competition was they wanted to pick THEIR favorite. They are fully entitled to their own opinion like we are. Everyone wants a participation award as always. It was a fun contest and I hope this doesn’t push them away from doing more.
