A big welcome to Antony Lune, who has joined eXp UK in Birmingham! 👏
It's great to see more agents choosing to take control of their businesses and build something for themselves, with the support of eXp behind them.
Antony, welcome to the team! Looking forward to seeing what you achieve.
I've always believed that people do business with people, not logos.
And that's something we really focus on at eXp.
It's YOUR name above the door. Your reputation, your relationships and the business you've worked hard to build.
We're not here to make agents build the eXp brand. We're here to help agents build their own.
And depending on the country and certain performance criteria, agents can even operate under their own brand in association with eXp.
For me, that's how estate agency should work.
The agent should always be the brand. 👏
I had a dose of imposter syndrome on Wednesday while hosting two sessions in the centre of the universe - Hitchin, of course 😉😎
First session was hosting a session for over 70 agents - both eXp and non-eXp agents - on AI, how to use it, what it can do, and showing some of the things I’ve built with it…
I mean, what can I possibly teach anyone about AI…??
Then in the afternoon, it was a session with a dozen or so people in the room, teaching them how to convert their existing employed estate agency business, into a self employed ‘brokerage’
Turns out…
a) People are confused, and overwhelmed, with AI - Hopefully I helped to lift some of the clouds around it and gave some practical advice on how to use it to maximise efficiency, while also generate more business (next session is in Knutsford on 10th November - message me for the link)
b) Estate agency business leaders are genuinely curious about how they can transition their business into a self employed model, and, in the main, want to be ‘part of something bigger’
It was a great day and I came away with loads of ideas of how we can continue to help agents all around the UK, and the world!
What a time to be alive… 🚀🚀😎
This was an image that Scott Gunn did as a tongue in cheek thing during a presentation recently…before anyone jumps on it (had to use it for something didn’t I!) 😆
EXPCON is coming to London in 2027!
I've been to some unbelievable eXp events around the world over the years, and I'm absolutely delighted that we're bringing EXPCON to London next year.
📍 Hilton Park Lane, London
📅 6th–8th July 2027
If you've experienced an eXp event before, you'll know what I'm talking about. And if you haven't, this is a great opportunity to see what it's all about.
Really looking forward to this one!

How can an estate agent earn MORE than 100% commission? 👀
It sounds impossible, but it isn’t.
At eXp, there are multiple ways agents can earn.
You’ve got generous commission splits. Hit your cap and you move onto 100% commission with a flat transaction fee.
Then there’s equity. The opportunity to earn shares in eXp World Holdings.
And finally, revenue share. Help us grow the business, bring great agents in and help them succeed, and you can earn a share of the revenue they generate.
Put all of that together and suddenly, earning more than 100% of your commission doesn’t sound quite so crazy.
That’s what makes this model so different.
Six years ago, I don’t think any of us could have predicted where eXp UK would be today.
We knew we had momentum. We knew we had something different. But the growth we’ve seen has been incredible.
And people often ask me why eXp has grown the way it has, when other self-employed models have been around for years.
For me, it comes down to the people.
The right agents, the right support, and giving people the tools and opportunity to build a business that works for them.
The model matters, of course. But it’s the people behind it who have made eXp what it is today.
And I still think we’re only getting started. 🚀
Door knocking still works. But how you do it matters. 🚪
I’m not talking about turning up at someone’s door with a hard sales pitch.
Start a conversation. Ask if they’re looking to buy. Introduce yourself as a local agent. Find out what they’re looking for and register their details.
Done properly, door knocking alongside direct mail can be one of the simplest ways to build relationships, generate leads and ultimately win more instructions.
Sometimes the old-school methods still works. You just need to approach them differently.
My favourite part of the job? Paying agents every day. 🙌
A few years ago, we were paying out around £100k a day. Today, that can be anywhere between £300k and £500k.
But it’s not really the numbers that matter to me. It’s what those numbers represent.
Agents changing their lives financially. Parents having the freedom to do the school run or make sports day. People earning what they earned before, but getting more of their time back.
It doesn’t mean you don’t have to work hard. You absolutely do. And it doesn’t happen overnight for everyone.
But seeing what can happen when people have the right model, the freedom to build their business their way, and the consistency to stick with it. That’s the part I love.
Want to become the go-to estate agent in your town? Start by becoming part of the town.
Know what’s happening locally. Get out to the events. Speak to people. Film it. Share it.
I’ve always liked the idea of becoming the “digital mayor” of your area. The person people follow because you genuinely know what’s going on.
Because estate agency isn’t only about promoting houses. It’s about promoting the place people are going to call home.
Become known for your area, and when people think property, there’s a good chance they’ll think of you too.
Sometimes the best thing you can do for your business is step out of it for a day or two.
The relationships you build, the conversations you have, and the perspective you gain can be incredibly valuable.
Yes, it’s an investment of time and money. But the return can be so much greater.
It’s great to see more agents recognising the value of getting in the room, learning from others and building relationships with people on the same journey.
Sometimes, taking time out of the business is exactly what helps you move it forward.
Motivation is great… when you’ve got it.
The problem is, you won’t always have it.
When you’re building a business, you have to be relentlessly consistent. Whether that’s posting on social media, sending letters, networking… whatever it is that moves your business forward.
You won’t always feel like doing it.
That’s where discipline comes in.
Keep turning up. Keep doing the work. Keep being consistent.
It really is that simple 😎
What if growing your business didn’t have to mean growing your overheads too?
That’s exactly what I’ll be talking about in Hitchin on 14th October.
We’ll be getting into practical AI, reducing fixed costs, retaining great agents and how to transition your business into a self-employed model.
No pitch. No fluff. Just a room of business owners having a proper conversation about smarter ways to grow.

If you’re a business owner and you’re thinking about growth, this one’s for you.
On 14th October, I’m hosting a session in Hitchin all about how to grow and scale your business without taking on unnecessary risk.
I’ll be sharing some of the things I’ve learnt along the way, including how we’re using AI to reduce costs, how a self-employed model can work, and how to attract and retain great people.
Nothing overly complicated. Just a useful afternoon, some honest conversations and hopefully a few ideas you can take back into your own business.
