Yesterday we lost a truly legendary singer and songwriter. His songs helped shape decades of music, and let’s be honest, he could probably write this post better than me. Thanks for the music and thanks for the memories, Neil. Rest in peace.
Sad message from Barry. I hope his recovery goes well and he’ll soon be able to perform. Just wanted to add what a class act he is. I’ve been a fanilow virtually my entire life. His live album in mid 70s is amazing. Get better!
Looks like a cool show

Interesting way of looking at songwriting. I love Bob, and I love Neil as a writer. Trying to explain the source of songwriting is impossible. Bob, at his peak, is indescribable. It is a feeling. A vibe. A combination of rhyme, meter, and melody that drips with authenticity and yet its meaning is completely unclear. But it gets into your soul like no other. Those that don't get it never will. And, that's ok too.
