It's looking like a south south problem o although their bolt drivers are polite about it and addition to fare is voluntary so back to PH people. You people are suffering!
Lovely to be back in Lagos where my bolt fare is 2500 and I paid 2500. Port Harcourt people are really passing through a lot in the hands of these greedy people.

How did the lady on red skirt made her way to the stage? She is the odd one from the group.
Thumbs up to Gọzie Okeke and Phyno.
I didn't see many Nigerian influencers promote Lagos life the way they are promoting Dubai life game. Why are we like this? Everything isn't about money for gods sake!
FROM THE GRASSROOTS TO THE BOARDROOM: ADVANCING THE FUTURE OF SAFETY IN NIGERIA
The recent courtesy visit by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Nigeria Chapter to Mr. Mukaila Ojikutu, Vice President, Safety & Environment, Renaissance Africa Energy Company, represents an important step towards strengthening collaboration between professional safety bodies and industry leaders.
I commend the leadership of ASSP Nigeria Chapter for its continued commitment to building strategic partnerships, promoting professional development, facilitating knowledge exchange, and advancing best practices in occupational health, safety, and environmental management.
As Chairperson of the ASSP Nigeria Chapter Emerging Professionals Committee, I see these engagements as an important reminder that advancing the safety profession requires collective effort, deliberate investment in people, and sustained collaboration between professional bodies, industries, and communities.
My vision is to see safety advocacy extend beyond industry boardrooms to our educational institutions, local communities, homes, and grassroots workplaces. Safety should not be a conversation reserved for corporate organisations or experienced practitioners alone. It must become a shared responsibility that is understood, practised, and championed at every level of society.
Achieving this requires us to invest in emerging professionals, encourage mentorship across generations, create opportunities for continuous learning, and equip young practitioners with the competence and confidence to contribute meaningfully to the profession.
It also requires experienced safety professionals to remain actively engaged, share their knowledge, and help create pathways for the next generation. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected safety community capable of responding to the evolving challenges of our workplaces and industries.
I therefore encourage safety practitioners, HSE professionals, students, and emerging professionals who are not yet members of ASSP to explore the benefits of joining the Society. Beyond professional affiliation, membership offers opportunities for networking, learning, mentorship, professional growth, and participation in a community committed to advancing safety practice.
The future of our profession depends not only on the standards we establish today, but also on the professionals we develop, the communities we reach, and the safety culture we nurture.
As we continue to support ASSP Nigeria Chapter's engagement with industry stakeholders, let us also strengthen our commitment to grassroots advocacy, professional competence, inclusive participation, and the development of future safety leaders.
My commitment as Chairperson of the Emerging Professionals Committee remains to contribute to a community where emerging professionals are empowered, experienced practitioners are engaged, professional membership is valued, and safety knowledge translates into meaningful action.
Let us keep building bridges, strengthening partnerships, and advancing a proactive safety culture—from the grassroots to the boardroom, and from home to industry.
Together, let us build a safer Nigeria, one professional, one workplace, and one community at a time.
