Wow! No nerding in the bar can match this vibe. Making knowledge accessible to all should be the agenda, not submitting it to the capitalistic agenda.

There’s such warmth (literal and figurative) in this photo—a gesture of endearment. I love how it captures a side of political leaders we seldom see: vulnerability, affection, and a loving relationship. Not the macho political figures the internet is so often replete with.

80% of my opportunities, including my last 2 full-time roles have come to me through LinkedIn and I REALLY wish others can leverage this platform just as well. Registrations are ongoing for the next batch of my LinkedIn workshop on 19 July (Sunday)! :) Ideal for those who are beginners or haven't been active on the platform. Enrol for the workshop at rzp.io/rzp/kareKOQ

Salman Rushdie says AI has "zero" role in storytelling. "It’s not useful to creative work because AI has no capacity for originality. What it can do is suck up enormous amounts of information and produce versions of that. But what it can’t do is something nobody’s done before. And that’s what art is, is to find things people haven’t done before. So, I mean I have less than zero interest in AI.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/sal…

Gender scholars working on India will rarely pay attention to these *urban* social practices because these would go against their picture of secluded sad Indian women, chained to their kitchens, crushed under the weight of patriarchy. thequint.com/opinion/what-ki…

Can't stop thinking about the fact that there's a Pakistani Panjabi movie from 1986 where Hitler survives WW2, runs off to Panjab, settles down with a local wife and raises a son named Hitlar who grows up to be a gangster in rural Panjab.

Imtiaz Ali’s latest—Main Vaapas Aaunga (MVA) is similarly set in 1947 and 2026. In that partition and in this one. Popular discourse about partition in 2026 only asks one question, and it is a rhetorical one—whose fault was it? The answers are ready. The film rejects the lie that the suffering ended in 1947 or only with the people who experienced it. @atti_cus writes. Read the full piece: thequint.com/opinion/main-va…

And it's going to leave pretty soon, the shows are already cut down by almost 50% to accommodate another remake. Please go watch it with your family and friends...don't let any negative review deter you..U will be disappointed in urself later if u do. #MainVaapasAaunga
Many thoughts for #MainVaapasAaunga, I can't put them into words. It's the kind of film that stays with you....& changes you. It's not just a story of partition, it's a story of humanity, the plight of refugees &the world's lack of empathy. PLEASE watch before it leaves theaters.
