I love football. And its best form is Friday night lights.
The energy. The sound of the crowd. The pure joy of kids playing their hearts out. For most of them, this is it. High school will be the only stage they ever play on. No scholarships. No pro contracts. Just these nights.
And maybe that’s why it feels so special. Because it’s a reminder. Everything we get to do has a timeline. Seasons end. Chapters close.
So the question is: are we giving it our all while we have the chance?
That’s what I take away from the field. Play like it matters. Work like it matters. Love like it matters. Because it does.
