A lovely touch. Chapeau.
Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always ❤️ you.

This is what is called the moron premium
All this against the backdrop of 10Y Gilt yields where nominal yields are higher, and the spread to G7 benchmarks greater than anything seen during the Mini Budget episode in 2022. This is not to excuse that period of daft policymaking, but the cost of running persistent deficits (partly because of the global competition for capital) has moved on. UK fiscal discipline has (largely) not.

#SNX Has the feel of a 'transformation project' going off the rails (with architect Bob Holt departing early). Not sure bringing Peter Kear (who took 6 years to turn a non SaaS model to a non SaaS model at #CLBS) is going to help.

In memory of Ann Widdecombe 1/7 I rarely post on X, mainly out of concern of being judged by friends or leaving a trail that investors in our businesses might disapprove of. What I really mean is because of a self-interested fear of people.

🇬🇧 A van driver in Kent saw armed police chasing a suspect on foot, pulled over, told the officer to get in the back, and just drove them after the guy. They caught him. Absolute legend move. Writer: Oliver xitter.cf/kent_police/status/207…

First they called us “far right” now the Economist pulls no punches and says that if you want people to take responsibility for their own spending, own children and own finances then you are a “bastard”!
Fundamentally, the British right has bet that the British public are, for want of a better word, bastards econ.st/4uwTfqx Illustration: Nate Kitch
