Our 'Feet First' Spring Active Travel Challenge takes place 18 to 22 March 2024, when we are encouraging all schools to promote sustainable active travel and support long term behaviour change for an active school run.
63 schools signed up = 9314 students. @ActiveTravelCCC
Feet First encourages families to think about how they travel to school, with the aim being to swap at least one car journey for a more active mode of travel. Whether that’s walking, using a mobility aid or wheelchair, cycling, or scooting is up to you.

#FeetFirstChallenge
Walking, wheeling or cycling on the school run is fun and free way of boosting your active minutes and exploring your neighbourhood.
It can also improve the mood of children arriving to school refreshed, alert and ready to learn.
Start your day on a win!🏅
Research tells us that being active boosts children's mental health, their learning and behaviour.
