The residents of Soweto are GATVOL of the ANC!
During our motorcade in Soweto, we came across a resident wearing an ANC T-shirt who, in a moment of frustration, tore it off to express his dissatisfaction with the ANC.
The people of Soweto are tired of empty promises, poor service delivery and years of being let down. They are ready for change, and on the 4th of November, they have an opportunity to vote for a party that is ready to Fix Joburg!
SOWETO deserves better, JOBURG deserves better and SOUTH AFRICA deserves better. It's time for ActionSA! VOTE FOR ACTIONSA!!

🚨 STOP HELEN ZILLE AND THE DA FROM BRINGING CAPE TOWN’S WALL POLITICS TO ALEXANDRA!
Today, I am on the ground in Alexandra, engaging residents about the importance of standing together to stop Helen Zille and the DA from pursuing a similar approach to what is being planned in Cape Town; building a wall to separate the poor from the rich.
We cannot allow Alexandra to become the next target of a politics that seeks to divide communities instead of addressing inequality.
Alexandra and Sandton may exist side by side, but their residents deserve equal dignity, respect and opportunities. The answer to poverty is not to build walls to separate the poor from the wealthy, but to confront the inequalities that continue to divide our society.

🚨SOUTH AFRICANS ARE NOT SHORT OF SKILLS, THEY ARE SHORT OF OPPORTUNITIES!
Yesterday, I came across these young South African men in Soweto Protea Glen, working for @Sixty60_Tweets, and it genuinely made me happy to see!
For far too long, we have been told that young South African men cannot ride bikes, and that this is why illegal immigrants are given these jobs. Encounters like this challenge that narrative. Our young people are capable, hardworking and ready to work. They deserve opportunities, not stereotypes and where ActionSA governs, Opportunities will be created!!

🚨 WHILE OTHERS CALL SOUTH AFRICANS LAZY, THE GROUND TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY!
During our Door-to-Door campaign in Protea Glen, we came across a variety of local spaza shops and businesses owned by South Africans. One of them was Siyanda, a young entrepreneur who has been running his locksmith shop for approximately seven years and is still going strong!
Entrepreneurs like Siyanda demonstrate the hard work, resilience and determination that exist in our communities. ActionSA believes in putting South Africans first by supporting local businesses, empowering entrepreneurs and building an economy that creates opportunities for our people.
Upon my return as Executive Mayor, I will ensure that our laws are enforced so that businesses operate in compliance with the law. Our spaza shops must create opportunities for South Africans, and local entrepreneurs must receive the support they need to grow, create jobs and strengthen our local economy.

🚨🗣️ ORDINARY SOUTH AFRICANS HAVE HAD ENOUGH; THEY WANT THEIR CITY BACK!
The message from ordinary South Africans is clear: “Herman Mashaba, come back to Joburg!” Residents are tired of the decline and are demanding a government that puts South Africans first, restores law and order, and brings dignity back to their communities.
With ActionSA in government, we will get back to the basics: a clean city, safe communities, law and order, and a government that puts its people first. Joburg deserves better, and the unfinished business must be completed!
