This is a real image of Haiku booting on a Titanium PowerBook G4.
For the first time ever.
At home, feeling a bit better and finally see some interesting results on a test.
I was thinking of doing a quick video update about life and health in the near future, and hopefully back to regular programming soon.
I also have one video almost done editing from before this happened
Not a heart attack, but something almost got me last night. Out of the ER today, thanks all you for being there and sending messages.
Scary when you’re alone and something like that happens
It’s glorious
How do you make a Power Macintosh G5 Quad relevant in 2026? Add 16 GB of RAM, the best video card possible, install PowerFox, and you're good to go.
Oh, and get rid of the liquid cooling system, too, and replace it with better heat sinks and an air-cooling conversion.

I don’t normally promote Kickstarters, but this one is worth checking out. Collect retro computers - in arcade form! It’s practically MADE for retro enthusiasts, and it's a brand new game for the Apple II!

Replying to @ActionRetro1
Did boot on my 15" Powerbook G4 (1.67Ghz), but for testing I have to wait that Trackpad/Mouse would work in a future version.

I was the intern in the office next door... ScanDisk was written in pure x86 assembly by @Lertulo, despite the fact that I spent a lot of time sitting in his guest chair asking questions like "What's EMS memory?"
You might think it's using some standard Microsoft text UI, but as far as I recall, he wrote it all from scratch.
