"The impact of international humanitarian organisations is vast, and there is no doubt that this decision will cost lives. In 2025 alone, ActionAid and our partners have supported more than 634,000 people across the Occupied Palestinian Territory with food, water, shelter and essential services."
In the face of Israel's decision to de-register ActionAid and other humanitarian organisations, the delivery of aid to the people of Gaza is now more critical than ever.
You can help ensure aid gets to the people who need is by donating to our Gaza Appeal using the link below.

Flooding has destroyed food, clothes, mattresses… whatever essential belongings people have.” Faten from our partner WEFAQ spoke to the FT about the devastation in Gaza, where families living in makeshift tents have “no real protection” against the storms.

Winter rains in Gaza are having a devastating impact on the many thousands of displaced people living in temporary shelters.
Sewage infrastructure has been destroyed by bombing, meaning that rains force water and sewage into the streets, increasing the risk of disease.
Medicine, decent shelter and warm clothes are urgently needed.

“I have stood in flooded camps and watched families dig channels with their bare hands to stop water from reaching their children at night.
“I have seen mothers and children forced to remain awake all night, standing in freezing floodwater inside their tents, without electricity, without heat, and without the strength left to do anything more.
“I have listened to parents describe wrapping their children in plastic sheets because there are no blankets left.”
The living conditions in Gaza this winter are almost unimaginable. You can help support people there by donating to our Gaza Appeal now using the link below.

More than a million people in Gaza need emergency shelter this winter. If the blocked aid is released into Gaza, it will save lives.
Aid is ready, but in many cases still can’t reach the people of Gaza.
Of the 37 NGOs surveyed, 73% said Israeli government restrictions have prevented vital aid from entering Gaza, while 78% reported supply chain disruptions.
