Grim Tales, Unearthed is out October 6th. Classic ghost stories, retold for readers who like their haunted houses a little meaner. Cursed portraits, a stone knight who walks on All Hallows' Eve, a wardrobe nobody should open, and a closing story that's all mine. Just in time for October. Link in comments

New ghost story on the blog, free to read. Her portrait was beautiful, and her eyes seemed to find his, no matter where he was in the room.

(The Yellow Wallpaper) Being dismissed is not the same as being wrong. If everyone says you’re fine and you know you’re not, trust yourself. #Life_lessons from #scarystories

A little something I've learned along the way... Being married to an indie author has taught me a thing or two about dreams. Behind every book is a person who has spent hours putting words on a page, second-guessing themselves, making changes, and hoping someone out there will connect with their story. I've also come to appreciate is that every author's journey looks different. Some days bring excitement. Other days call for patience, a little encouragement, and someone willing to say, "Keep going. You've got this." You don't have to be the one writing the book to understand how much a dream can mean to someone. Sometimes, supporting a dream simply means showing up, cheering someone on, and believing in what they're creating, even when the road gets a little bumpy. Shoutout to all the indie authors and the people supporting them behind the scenes.
