As part of an innovative effort to provide dental care to children in our community, Access hosted a Head Start Day at our William T. Evjue Clinic yesterday. In addition to the care provided, Access staff also provided coloring & other activities to the children who participated.

Yesterday was an important day for Access and the people we serve. Thanks to the many donors, supporters, board members & staff who were able to attend our Access Fitchburg Clinic groundbreaking. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our patients and our community.

Members of the Access Behavioral Health team were able to attend the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA) annual conference in St. Louis last week, which hosts health care professionals who are interested in bringing medicine and behavioral health together.

Earlier this week, we were grateful to host the Roots & Wings Foundation for a special site visit. Their visit was a wonderful opportunity to show their support in action - to meet the teams doing the work, experience the clinic firsthand, and see the impact of our collaboration.

Access was proud to join more than 1,100 volunteers at @unitedwaydaneco Day of Caring yesterday to support local nonprofits and the children and families they serve. Together, volunteers assembled a variety of kits with essential items for community members in need.

Congrats to Giselle, Sandy and Sebastian, this year’s recipients of the $1,000 Gay & Mark Gross Family Scholarships, and to Tien, the recipient of the $1,000 Access Staff Scholarship. The scholarships are offered to Access staff currently enrolled in a health care field program.
