I wouldn’t be too upset to see Ramsey in for either Cazorla or Ozil.
Otherwise, this line up would have dominated world football in ways we will never ever see in our lifetime.
This is the first time I have ever given any thought to a potential change to my favourite sport in the world and my mind is blown at how fair and potentially very entertaining this format could be. It makes so much sense.
There is a better way.
Play the penalty shootout straight after 90 mins.
The winner of the shootout gets a 0.5 goal lead going into 30 mins of extra time.
Now the team that lost the pens has a chance to win and crucially, no matter score, there is one team that has to go for it at all times, making extra time fun too.
