I hope the main Bitcoin conferences start scheduling talks and workshops on humility.
I saw multiple complaints about ColdCards being drained on Twitter over the years:
1) victims were told it was their mistake
2) victims were warned of the possibility that their ColdCard had been intercepted in transit
3) ColdCard support ignored and blocked them

I have many thoughts on the Coldcard failure. In summary because I have limited time: Firstly, never use their products again. Second, no other hardware wallet manufacturer took the handful of minutes to analyze their firmware code. Instead they all peck at each other on twitter. It’s a failure on their part. Stop shilling your product when you couldn’t even discover the flaw. It doesn’t make you look good. Third, the move away from GPL disincentivized contributing to the CC firmware altogether as I said it would. Just a total clown show for the entire ecosystem. It has cost me dearly during a period of life events that no one should have to contend with simultaneously. I’m sorry for the other victims.

I’ve seen worse things during one week in major US cities (SF, NYC etc) compared to years in London. I still think the US is phenomenal.
London has a few problems to solve but no more than other major cities. The Americans I know that live/visit here seem to love it…
