Making the playoffs is absolutely the move if they can somehow pull it off. You don’t want to take the chance of giving up 2 unprotected 1sts. This shouldn’t even be a discussion

We didn’t see one Hamas uniform for 15 months. The reporting often pretended they didn’t exist. These cowards started a war and then hid in street clothes behind hostages, women, and children. Now that there is a ceasefire, suddenly they bravely parade in their uniforms.

Erik Spoelstra made no change to Jimmy Butler’s role from the role he played in having one of his best career games against Detroit recently.
No one designed the role of sleepwalking to the corner.
Calling out role is publicly questioning the coach others in the NBA respect.
Calling one of the most successful and TENURED front offices in the league “inept” tells you all you need to know about how emotional our fan base is. Could they have done better? Absolutely. But the entitlement can make us no diff than NY/Philly fan base.

Why can't the Heat be blamed? He's done this two other times and they should have expected it after not giving him help AND deciding not to extend him. Again, an inept front office, all it is.

🇺🇳 Antonio Guterres spokesman says UNRWA never knew their Teachers Union chief was terrorist leader. “Most people engaged in underground organizations try not to have their involvement known publicly.”
WRONG. Sharif boasted of his Hamas ties every day: unwatch.org/contempt-for-col…
Q: The head of the Teachers’ Union for UNRWA in Lebanon and the principal at an UNRWA school was killed in an Israeli airstrike. Hamas claimed him as one of their own, said he was their commander in Lebanon. Information about that gentleman had been brought to UNRWA’s attention several months ago by the UN Watch NGO. The gentleman was placed under suspension and an investigation launched. I’m trying to find out during the course of that investigation if any information was ever uncovered that this gentleman was a high-ranking Hamas operative, a commander, the commander in Lebanon. And secondly, I again ask, as I’ve asked before, how can the Secretary-General and the UNRWA Commissioner-General and other UN officials say credibly with a straight face that Hamas has not infiltrated UNRWA when the head of its… of all things, the Teachers’ Union and a principal turns out to be Hamas’ commander in Lebanon? How do those two things get reconciled?
🇺🇳: First of all, Fateh al Sharif was indeed an UNRWA employee. As soon as UNRWA received information about his possible involvement with Hamas at a senior level, he was immediately put on administrative leave without pay. This was back in March, and contrary to what information may be floating in social media or other places, he was never ever reinstated. So I just want to make that clear. You know, the Colonna report that the Secretary-General commissioned outlined a number of issues with the operations of UNRWA and made number of recommendations in order to ensure the neutrality of UNRWA and its staff. Those recommendations have been taken on board. And I could tell you that, first of all, the UN doesn’t… UNRWA like most employees doesn’t have an intelligence or police unit to investigate every staff member... As soon as information was received, in this case from the Israeli Government, action was taken. Every time UNRWA has received information beyond just a name, action has been taken and we’ll continue to do so.
Q: And respectfully, this is not a low-level operative, and it wasn’t the brother of a plumber who knew somebody in Hamas. This was a Hamas commander in Lebanon. If UNRWA is not able to sniff this out over the course of years and with a multi-month investigation, how can it be trusted to do any other vetting of any kind?
🇺🇳: First of all, anyone who works for the UN and engages in terror-like activity is unacceptable and outrageous and an insult to all UN staff members around the world. In general terms, and I can’t speak specifically to this case, most people who are engaged in underground organizations try not to have their involvement known publicly.
Q: By the way, he posted on social media for years about his Hamas involvement.

“people have lost their minds on who are terrorists, who are actually defending their civilians, who are trying to get their civilians killed, people trying to rewrite borders, call people resistance fighters.”
“I think the whole narrative of now we have a ‘two front war,’ ‘Israel is now doing this.’ The headline should be Israel is defending itself in a 7 front war, that there has been 8,000 Hezbollah rockets attacking Israel for a year…80 to 100,000 Israelis homeless…it won’t be another Gaza, the objective are completely different…any other country in this situation these wouldn’t be the questions we would be asking.”
The day Pat Riley steps down will be the worst day in franchise history. The organization will never be the same. Facts.

Gazan civilian, likely Al Jazeera journalist or UN humanitarian staff, engaging in civilian activity today.
As Hamas’ Health Ministry doesn’t distinguish between combatants and civilians his death will be reported as civilian casualty today and the media will parrot, as usual.

A point that Israel’s critics don’t realise about Israelis:
We like living.
We don’t like dying.
Our enemy, radical Islamic Hamas, loves and celebrates death.
You see candy handed out after innocent civilians are slaughtered.
Their “martyrs” are promised dozens of virgins in their afterlife.
We have none of this.
We go to war, never with joy or frivolity;
only solemnly, understanding our noble duty to defend our lives and freedom.
Every Israeli mom that gives birth to a baby boy begins at that very moment to repress nightmares of that knock one day on her door, to be notified by officers of her boy falling in battle.
We have a citizens’ army. Everybody’s kids go and serve together, merit-based.
You have the boys of CEOs, teachers, merchants and policemen serving all in one platoon.
So it’s very personal for us.
We’re not sending “other people’s” boys to war.
It’s us. It’s me.
I served, fought and lost my closest friends.
My children will have to serve too.
So for all of Israel haters out there that are portraying us as a blood-thirsty nation just looking to kill Palestinians:
if you think your lies will stop us from defending our homeland—you’re dead wrong.

Sit down, listen, and learn, especially if you are a Biden-supporting American Jew.
I couldn't care less about Biden/Trump, or anything even remotely related to American politics. In fact, I find the whole fiasco appalling.
Here's what matters to me:
Breaking with US foreign policy and abstaining, albeit in keeping with Obama's tradition, is emboldening Israel's enemies. To them, what the US did today = a historic victory that gets them closer to Jerusalem.
When Israel is surrounded by tens of millions of Muslims who fundamentally believe that the day of judgement won't come before Muslims ethnically cleanse Jews and retake every inch of Israel, this is an existential threat.
I don't care what CNN or the BBC say. I know many will tell you this is a meaningless vote and nothing actually changes. But, I am watching what Arabs are saying. Their governments, activists, Islamist movements, terrorists and average people. They all see what happened today as a victory for Hamas, which receives the support of the majority of Muslims across the world.
This is a turning point. If you are not concerned by what Biden is doing, if you are not concerned for the future of Am Yisrael, now is the time to reconsider. Things can get very, very ugly. This is not scaremongering. This is a warning and a wake-up call!

What many people don’t understand is that Israelis and a lot of Israel supporters would be thrilled with a deal to get hostages home. Even better would be a deal that ended the war by bringing hostages home and getting Hamas leaders to agree to surrender (even if that means they live for now). Going into Rafah will mean dead Israeli soldiers. It will mean extending the war. It will mean greater risk of Hezbollah attacks in the North.
But the only kind of deal Israel can accept is one where Hamas is no longer in control and its leaders are gone. The only way to get Hamas to accept such a deal is if they think their time is up and they don’t have a choice.
The Biden admin actively undermined the ability to get such a deal done by giving Hamas the belief that they can survive without surrendering. Much worse, they did it for purely political reasons. They did it to try to appease some extreme elements of their base. More people are going to die, Palestinians and Israelis, because Biden gave Hamas hope. That’s why people are so upset.

Israel is not alone.
The most powerful country on earth—most Americans, most Members of Congress—stands with Israel.
Israel will outlive its enemies.
It will outlive the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It will outlive Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.
Israeli will live on. Am Yisrael Chai.
