Fantastic news: the Spanish capital has BANNED circuses with wild animals! A year ago, the city council of #Madrid voted in favour of a ban & we're delighted that it has been adopted. Thanks to the efforts of local campaigners & Spanish animal groups including our friends at AAP.

Another vital rescue in Indonesia as the authorities uncovered hundreds of songbirds freshly poached from the jungles.
@ProtectingBirds cared for the birds and were able to release 572 back into the forests where they belong.
Animals Asia is proud to support this vital work.
